Coombe House

IS THERE AN INFINITY STAR RATING???!!! The perfect stay!!! We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed every second. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our host, David, who we immediately felt at home with. We were spoiled with coffee, cake, and good conversation prior to getting settled in our rooms. (David was also the bellhop that totes our luggage upstairs) The rooms were very clean, comfy, and cozy. If anything was wanted, had we even needed anything, it would have been provided. Breakfast was both, entertaining and delicious!!! Can definitely understand why we were not able to stay another night (a last min request-but do not let that deter you from asking!)--- because it is a popular destination!!!

Our Coombe House experience with our host David was simply amazing. He greeted us with outstanding hospitality and made us feel welcomed and at home. Our room and breakfast was top-notch. Our bed and shower welcoming and relaxing. David provides a first class experience for all his guests. My wife and I have stayed at many hotels and B&B’s over the years, but the Coombe House was #1. This lovely cottage house is so homely. We were there for our anniversary, and it was a great stay. Rooms are cosy, and breakfast is delicious. Walking distance to the beautiful lake and Windrush walk.David (property owner) was so caring and extremely helpful.He helped guide us on our journey around the Cotswolds. Would highly recommend and visit again soon.

We stayed at this charming Cotswold home with a great host, and exceptionally clean room and facilities . We loved our 2 night stay. The room had everything we needed-blow dryer, TV, mini fridge, nice touches-electric kettle, tea, milk, bisquets, soaps and hair products. The room was cozy-beautiful sitting table and comfortable beds. The breakfasts were so good with so many choices. The host will accommodate any dietary concerns. We enjoyed scrambled eggs and salmon, pastries, tea/coffee, yogurt, fruits, and the menu has many more offerings. What makes this bed and breakfast extra special is the host, David. He is a wonderful person who made us feel at home the moment we walked in. We can't say enough about his excellent level of service. He is a huge Elvis fan, btw. We had fun chatting about music. This is very close to the High street. It took us about 10 minutes to walk there. It's about 6 minutes to the Model Village and Bird Park. For all these reasons,new highly recommend you book a stay.

We loved staying at Coombe House in Bourton-on-the-Water. David was a fabulous host--so personable and helpful, and he cooked a great breakfast! He has a lovely house in a perfect location, with beautiful grounds and parking (super bonus)! I highly recommend it!

A friend recommended this lovely hotel to us and it did not disappoint. The hotel was set in beautiful gardens and a short stroll into Bourton. David the owner was very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. There was ample safe parking. We would not hesitate to stay at Coombe House again.
