Woolley Grange - A Luxury Family Hotel

We went to Woolley Grange for my son’s 5th Birthday and had the absolute best time. I couldn’t fault a thing. The service was amazing, the food was fantastic ( we had lunch, dinner and Sunday lunch!) and the facilities were great. The pool and spa were so clean and well maintained. The bears den was perfect for the kids (ages 5, 3, 1) and they loved it there. All of the staff were wonderful with the kids and made everything so easy. A special mention to Lisa who was so wonderful throughout our stay. We will definitely be back when it re-opens in October!

Ideal for families. The hotel kept giving the more we explored the grounds. Our daughter didn't want to leave! From the indoor pool to the outdoor swing, to the wooden play house to the play den to the rabbits to the fairy garden and on and on and on! Every corner we turned there was another kid friendly activity or point of interest. We've never been to such a family orientated hotel whilst feeling very pampered at the same time. Thank you for a lovely few days away.

Fantastic place to stay with little ones. The staff were so friendly, nothing is too much trouble and they are great with the kids. Having the child’s name on the table booking was also a lovely little touch and made our son feel very special. He loved the freshly made cookies and milk before bedtime and the films in the cinema room. The grounds were lovely too. The indoor pool was a great hit and a good way to burn off some energy! He also loved going to the Den each day to play, having 2 hrs free childcare is also great for the adults to have a break and relax too! The food was amazing too. Can it wait to go back there and stay when the weather is warmer.

We've just returned from a lovely 4 night stay in this beautiful hotel.Yes other reviewers have put it needs some TLC which I suppose it does,but it adds to the charm of this old country house.The staff are so lovely and very helpful nothing is too much trouble.The grounds are nice to walk round.Theres an outdoor pool and a lovely walled garden.Play areas for the children,ducks and chickens.There's a few lounges to sit and relax,books and board games available.There is a few dining areas including an orangery for breakfast and evening meal.We didn't have an evening meal during our stay as we had eaten out elsewhere on our day out or had booked a restaurant in the nearby village.The rooms are small but cosy,we had a standard room.It had all u needed.The bathroom was huge.All toiletteries provided,bathrobes and slippers.We didn't use the pools as we weren't really in during the day but it seemed very busy with children.There isn't a bar but they do have a drinks book so you can order from that which we did and sat outside and they have waiter service.Prices are high though.We loved this hotel so much and didn't want to leave.Colin and Lisa were always chatty and friendly.If were ever in the area again we would definitely return for another stay.

I stayed there with my sister to celebrate her 40th birthday. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and the spa treatments were lovely. We had breakfast every day which was a buffet and a choice of a cooked meal. The food was lovely and that was the case for the restaurant food, which you can have there or in the Lounge. The place is full of quirky and original features - we had an old fireplace in our bathroom! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. They'd always say hello and make a point of trying to accommodate our every request. A special mention to Fred at the restaurant. The hotel it's a ten minute drive or 30 minute walk to Bradford on Avon which is a lovely, quaint little place with a ton of restaurants and little shops. Though we travelled without children, this is a very child friendly hotel and I would recommend it to families with little ones! We would definitely return!

Never stayed in a Manor House for Christmas and kept an open mind about what to expect. It was a great experience for us. The staff are incredibly hard working and helpful. Our room in the East Gable was very clean and spacious but was a bonus to have all the downstairs living rooms available too with a cinema and plenty of dvds to entertain with a dvd player in our room. The swimming pool, sauna and steam room was impeccable. The food was to a very high standard and beautifully presented. Overall I can’t fault the place!
