Margaret River Hideaway & Farmstay

We had the most wonderful stay at this fantastic farm! It was absolutely perfect for our child, who had an unforgettable time exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, and enjoying the open space. Dani, the host, is absolutely amazing—so welcoming, kind, and attentive to our needs. She made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, going above and beyond to ensure we were settled and well taken care of. The accommodation was spotless and beautifully maintained, with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were cozy, the kitchen well-equipped, and the surroundings peaceful and picturesque, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our child loved feeding the animals, playing outside, and simply enjoying the fresh air. It was a great opportunity for family bonding and relaxation. The farm's peaceful atmosphere and the warmth of Dani's hospitality made this stay extra special. We highly recommend Hideaway farm stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway. It was a perfect vacation for my family. A peaceful and quiet setting amidst nature. One gets to wake up in your cottage room with a direct view to your natural surroundings. Being self-catered, all the amenities were available. Clean sheets, heater / air-conditioning. We even had the opportunity to photograph the starry night skies. Highly recommended if one is looking towards experiencing a natural surroundings of peaceful moments. Great efforts in hospitality too.

We are a family of four and stayed in a two bedroom cottage. The cottage is very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. It is very near to the Margaret River town. My boys enjoy feeding the Alpacas, peacocks, chicken/rooster that are roaming freely in the farm. There are 2 or 3 playgrounds. My boys enjoy playing with the toy cars there.

We went as a family of four and my kids enjoyed the farmstay. We can see alpacas roaming around just outside our cottage and there were other animals such as geese, chickens, emu etc. During the animal feeding time, the kids had fun trying to feed different animals. There were small play areas all around the farmstay. The chalet was tidy and clean and it was fully equipped. Dani, the manager was so kind to give us eggs when we first arrived and the instructions to check in was clear though we came after office hours.

My family (with 3 young kids aged 3mths-4yrs) stayed here for 5 nights and it was one of the best decisions of the trip! The cottage is absolutely lovely, it was so clean and cosy. It had everything we needed from a baby bathtub/cot to abundance of play spaces for my bigger kids. Dani was so helpful and friendly and the kids really loved feeding the animals. It's clear that the animals are well loved and taken care of here! We'll definitely return when we come back to Margaret River.

It was an wonderful experience for family with kids, we stayed at the 3 bedrooms cottage for 3 nights, the cottage was clean and very functional with all the necessities for cooking. The animal feeding was fun, and my kids enjoyed the experience so much. A few suggestions 1. Book early as it is highly popular for family 2. Try not to drive at night as it is pitch dark 3. Do pay attention to the farm stay entrance from the main road as the GPS and the road sign can be easily missed 4. I do feel if the farm stay can provide better laundry facilities in the cottage itself will be very helpful rather than a central laundry room
