The place was nothing like the pictures. Booked on the high end for a much needed night of luxury. Sadly was not delivered 🥹 Exhausted and sick after a long flight the only upside was that it was walking distance with my cart of luggage. Got to the room( dirty, disgusting and nothing like the pics), went to call for room service and wifi - phones were out. Treck down to the desk for them to take my phone and log me onto Facebook messenger cuz that’s what we’re doing at 1am 👍 Ton at the closed restaurant was my bright light, took and delivered my order. Him, the entire restaurant staff and proximity to airport are this hotel’s redeeming qualities.

Amari Bangkok – Perfect Couple’s Escape in the Heart of the City (2 Nights Stay)

My partner and I stayed at Amari Bangkok for two nights, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between modern luxury and warm Thai hospitality, making it an ideal choice for couples looking for a relaxing city break.

Check-in & Service:
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and we were even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink. The team at the reception and concierge were always ready with a smile and great local recommendations.

Room:
We stayed in a Deluxe King Room, and it was spotless, spacious, and tastefully designed with a contemporary Thai touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Bangkok skyline. The bathroom was sleek and well-equipped, complete with a rainfall shower and high-quality toiletries.

Facilities:
The pool area was one of our highlights — a tranquil oasis in the middle of the city. We enjoyed an afternoon lounging by the pool with cocktails from the pool bar. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the Breeze Spa was a must-do for couples; the aromatherapy massage was heavenly.

Dining:
Breakfast at Amaya Food Gallery was exceptional — a wide selection of Thai, Western, and Asian dishes with fresh fruit, pastries, and live cooking stations. We also had dinner one evening at Italthai, where the food and ambience made for a perfect romantic night in.

Location:
The location couldn’t be better — right near Siam, CentralWorld, and Pratunam, which made exploring and shopping incredibly convenient. Despite being in such a busy area, the hotel itself felt peaceful and private.

Overall:
Amari Bangkok exceeded our expectations. The combination of comfort, attentive service, and central location made our short getaway truly memorable. It’s a wonderful choice for couples who want a blend of romance and city energy.

This was my very first trip to Laos and to Vientiane, and though my journey began with challenges due to Typhoon Kajiki—which caused the cancellation of high-speed train services and left me traveling through heavy rain—I found comfort and joy in my stay at Amari Vientiane.

Despite the stormy weather that kept me indoors, the hotel itself became the highlight of my trip. The serene views of the Mekong River, combined with the elegance of the atmosphere, transformed gloomy days into unforgettable moments. The evening drinks were refreshing and delightful, while breakfast the next morning was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared.

I must especially thank the reception staff, whose kindness, professionalism, and warm service made me feel truly welcome. Their attentiveness turned my stay from simply pleasant into deeply memorable.

Although my time in Vientiane was marked by storm clouds and rain, Amari Vientiane turned those grey skies into lasting memories filled with warmth, comfort, and genuine hospitality. I will certainly recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues, and I look forward to returning again—hopefully under clearer skies, but always to the same outstanding service.
