Even though it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained. The river view is fantastic, especially at night. The overall service is excellent, from the bellhops to the concierge and the front desk – there are plenty of staff at each station, so you always feel well taken care of. I particularly loved the hotel's flower arrangements; they were beautiful and unique. Breakfast was also great, with a wide variety of choices, and dining by the river wasn't hot at all. Plus, there were many little birds, which my child adored. We took the ferry to Iconsiam nearby, which was very comfortable and convenient, saving us from the crowds. The only minor downsides are that the hotel is indeed showing its age; the elevators make some concerning noises, and the room had that 'old hotel smell' – not mildew, just an aged scent. Otherwise, everything else was superb.

Facilities: Despite having opened some time ago, the hotel's facilities are still in excellent condition and feel very modern.
Ambiance: The lobby is incredibly spacious, and there's a lovely fountain right at the entrance.
Cleanliness: The room was impeccably clean and tidy, with absolutely no unpleasant smells.
Service: From the moment we stepped in, someone proactively offered to help with our luggage. The front desk staff who checked us in were extremely polite and even asked if we'd like to be escorted to our room. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic!
I'll definitely be staying at The Peninsula Hotel again next year.

This time, I stayed at The Peninsula Tokyo with my daughter for a vacation and felt happy and satisfied, especially with the attentive facilities and staff. Coincidentally, since our departure date fell on a weekend, the hotel specially opened the 24th-floor Peter for guests to have breakfast, allowing us to enjoy a panoramic view of the Palace in the morning. However, the meal presentation service there seemed not as attentive as in the lobby restaurant or room service. I hope to try it again next time to experience it better.
