The hotels Vila Galé (this is the 6th in the last 2 years) are the best of the quality of service offered. The fact that I have been scheduled by an operator was ”probably” assigned to me one of the less well-located rooms (642), a behavior that is not very pleasant. The location of the hotel is perfect. The breakfast service, despite the great affluence of guests, works very well.

The only problem was every morning around 10am you would smell sewage  in the room which would linger for a couple of hours

When we buy a room in a hotel, wherever it is, the goal is to rest. With beds that leave the hip to hurt and with room corridors of about 50 metres in length without any isolation, a noise that makes any rest impossible. Just put a perforated micro-touch and double-door room and a problem was resolved. 
The air conditioning was super noisy in the room, fortunately it was not necessary to connect it to you at night due to awful temperatures.
The hotel is beautiful, but it doesn't offer the essentials, a good rest.

A beautiful and great heritage in Alentejo, with peace and good service. 
Very sympathetic and valuable collaborators. 
Many activities and it's worth visiting Adega and probing the wines.

Stayed with family here in a second booked room in this hotel. Outdoor pool was so inviting as the temp reached 35 deg in early October. Staff were super efficient and the prices for a late check out were very reasonable. The hotel itself is located within the walks of the town with ample outdoor parking just outside. Highly recommend a stay here.
