My husband and I have just had a lovely, relaxing 3 days stay at this wonderful hotel. We were greeted by a lovely lady on arrival. Our room was no.3 which was a comfortable size, a really comfy bed, and a beautiful bathroom. Breakfast covered everything, and was very tasty. It was served by Silvi, who was very friendly and courteous. We enjoyed breakfast outside in glorious sunshine, over looking the river. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the lovely team of staff. Matt has a wonderful hotel, and we will definitely be back for another stay. Mark and Ali

Excellent little hotel in Brandon. Perfect location for my trip visiting the local airfields. Well furnished and beautifully laid out location set on a riverbank with boats and ducks with a warm and friendly greeting from the hosts. My room was at another building up and over the bridge and at the bottom of the garden! ...but at £65 incl an excellent brekkie, who could complain? Thoroughly, enjoyed my stay here and would use in future anytime.

This is a small hotel located either side of a bridge over the Little Ouse in Brandon. We were in room 3 overlooking the main road. Room was slightly on the small side, compact but not cramped with a comfortable double bed. There are tea and coffee making facilities. Furnished with a wardrobe, table, chair and 2 two drawer bedside tables, this provides adequate storage space. There is also a flat screen tv in the room. Free WiFi. There is an en suite shower room with a superb rain shower, in fact the shower room is fantastic, the only criticism is that there is no shelving on which to put your toiletries in the shower and a non slip shower mat would should be added. Breakfast is very good, with a selection of juices, fresh fruit, various cereals, filter coffee tea, fruit teas etc. Also a freshly cooked to order breakfast is included in the price with a full English, omelette, various eggs etc. The grounds are small but very well kept with access to boats on the Little Ouse. There is an annexe to the hotel on the other side of the bridge but we never got to see it. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Charming place, we hsven't visted for 25 years or more but now more modern but still cosy and friendly, run by the same family. Staff were friendly and welcoming, the coffee was very good and the brownie very moreish. The location is idyllic, next to the river Little Ouse by the road bridge at the end of Brandon High Street. There is a car park which is a little small but parking is available outside. The river has wildfowl, ducks and beautiful swans as well as other birds that may happen along although we saw nothing else today. Rowing boats and what looked like a pedlo swan are available to hire. We felt very welcome and overall the Bridge is a warm place to visit with indoor facilities if the weather is not good. The road noise from the bridge itself is evident but despite being fussy about thus sort of thing it didn't bother us and to dome extent added to the character, emphasising that the place is urban rather than rural.

Lovely hotel with riverside views. Accommodation was comfortable and clean. Greeted by the lovely Silvia who gave us excellent service and accommodated our needs with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine in the garden overlooking the bridge and river. Very relaxing with swans and ducks swimming by. Breakfast was excellent. Good choice of cooked breakfast. Fresh fruit salads and help your self to drinks and toast.

What a fantastic night at The Bridge Hotel Brandon! The food was brilliant and the service (especially from Liz) was exemplary!! The music from The Fun Boys was spot on and the fireworks were out of this world all hosted perfectly by Matt Arnold

We stayed here as we were down for a friend's birthday but made it an ideal location. There is the main hotel building and an annexe, which is where we were in. We were greeted by Chris, possibly the owner at the annexe, anf directed to our room accross the garden to the Bury St Edmonds room which I didn't get pictures of, but was quite small but had all the amenities, bathroom etc. We explained I am disabled so she checked and said there is room for one car on the other side right next to the building, which was great, but just for one car comfortably. We had just gotten into our room when Chris asked if we minded stopping rooms, as the other couple were worried about the main road noise. This we did, and I feel we got the better roomier room, of the Cambridge room. Photos attached, nothing you could want more, but there is no iron and ironing board. The annexe did have a kitchen that I didn't venture into. The breakfast was in the main building with cerials, and choice for breakfast of cooked etc, and coffee all being a bit sparce on the coffee front, as was from a percolator and could only have a small cup at a time. If I had anything else on a slight negative to say, it would be to give the breakfast chairs a good clean, as are cream with hand marks on it. The outside is beautiful in the main hotel, and I bet stunning with the river running past in the summer. I have stayed in lots of hotels, and this is one of my favourites with the staff, being friendly, accommodating, and making you feel welcome. Would stay there again, great value for the price.

We have just got back from a 2 night stay. We stayed in the family room in the main hotel which was a good size for myself, husband, 16 year old and 6 year old. Beds were really comfy and the view of the river was lovely. I did feel that the fixtures and fittings were a little tired looking and the room could of been cleaned a bit better. There was also 1 tea bag in our room and we couldn't get anymore until the morning. Our general experience was good and we would stay again.
