Evergreen Inn

Took and chance after reading the reviews and I regret it. This place was NOT clean- heavy on the NOT. It needs updated, it's basically an old motel 6 that's has the hair painted over on the walls. Sad to write this review but you get what you pay for I guess. Will never be returning to this hotel.

THE PLACE WASNT THAT BAD---- EXCEPT FOR THE OWNER AT THE FRONT DESK WHO LITERALLY GOT IN MY HUSBANDS FACE BECAUSE HE WAS TOO CLOSE TO THE DOOR WHEN OUTSIDE SMOKING LITERALLY WENT PSYCHO. THEN AFTER THAT I ASKED FOR SOME TOWELS AND HE SAID NO!!!!! AND HE ALSO SCREAMED AT OUR GRANDMA BECAUSE THE PRICE SHE BOOKED WAS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT WAS QUOTED AND REALLY UPSET HER TO WHERE HER HUSBAND HAD TO SAY SOME WORDS BECAUSE HE WAS SO RUDE.... YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE WAY YOU TREAT PEOPLE BECAUSE YOU ARE LAZY AND WANT TO RUN YOUR MOUTH.

The room was great — spacious & clean, great location, nice facilities. Service was mediocre at best. The man at the reception desk seemed offended to be disturbed, did not smile once, issued key without any elaboration on services. When asked for a second key, he was clearly bothered. Asked about the WiFi Password, his accent made it hard to understand him. He seemed offended to have been asked twice. Breakfast consisted of biscuits, which were okay, powdered scrambled eggs, and what might be called gravy, if it had a bit of sausage in it and if it was not watered down so much. I'd stay there again because of the room, location, and facilities. I'd fire the front desk help, except I suspect he is the owner and resentful of being bothered by customers.

I was pleasantly surprised! The rates are super especially for everything you get for such a great price. The location is wonderful! Not too far from all the action of the *****. We spent the evening at the Landing and was like 8 minutes away. Such an easy drive. It is quiet there too. The pool back behind the hotel has a nice little wooded area. Now this is huge! The rooms were all super clean! Not only a great price & location but CLEAN. They have left some of the nostalgic charm yet updated with flooring & nice white bedding (which are comfy) there is a fridge, a microwave & plenty of towels. I was so glad it didn't have that old yucky carpet some hotels have or musky smell. It was so fresh & clean. I saw they have a guest laundry but we didn't need to use it but certainly nice while on a longer trip. They even have breakfast! There was cereal, biscuits and Gravy, waffles, cappuccino, coffee, hot cocoa and juices. The breakfast area was spotless. Last but not least...the owner & his employees are incredibly welcoming and friendly. They all work so hard to make your stay comfortable and you can tell they strive to have everything as clean as possible for their guests. I am very thankful for a great stay and I will stay again!

We went to Branson for a Conference and to see our grandson, at the college of the Ozarks. My husband left his phone at home. The owner went out of his way so we could call our grandson and patch calls to our room. We will make sure to come and stay with them because of such great hospitality we received. We did find the phone under the car seat when we returned.

The rooms were partially clean, with no hot water in the sink, the hotel offered breakfast, but there was no breakfast, when you needed ice you had to go to the front desk and they gave you ice out of a bag. The beds were very uncomfortable and the refrigerator and microwave were not clean. But the room was cheap I guess you get what you paid for.
