Best Western Plus Hotels in Braunschweig

The overall layout of the rooms is very good, the decoration is stylish, the front desk is very friendly, and the location is directly in the city center, and the overall feeling is very good. But the air-conditioning effect is very poor, and the noise is very loud. I did not sleep well at night because of this.

Truly quiet night and the room was all clean and intact. Breakfast was of excellent choice, fresh and very good quality. The hotel has an open pub on the ground floor accessible from the street and receptionist works also as a bar tender or the other way round. Very polite service. No issues with the parking on the hotel’s courtyard.

I give this hotel chain the lowest score ! We arrived at the Agoda Hotel ”Centro Hotel Celler Tor” in Braunschweig, Germany on March 7 at 23:00 p.m. at Yagodin (Ukraine / Poland) border with my wife and gender in 2 cars, we were embarked on my family The receptionist welcomed us with the circumstances of the smile, offered 3 rooms for €256. For the same choice on the hotel's website the price was €216. The receptionist therefore advised us to book online. Thing is done with online payment. All was ok. It is just the time to give us the chamber keys that he asks for a vaccination certificate. I explain to him that the French have a vaccine pass on their phone, but that in the hurry of departure my Ukrainian family will not be able to present it. This gentleman, apparently uninformed about the dramatic situation in Ukraine, has only complied with the regulation of the German hotel chain, he has categorically explained us to leave. No humanist from his side, a 3-month baby and a 80-year-old grandmother left him completely unturbable. After much insistence, we were in the street, and then on a motorway area to ”sleep” at 10 in 2 cars. The hotel has been very close to the hotel and the hotel has been very close to the hotel. One night in the car for a Babouchka, a 3-month baby, 1 2.5-year-old child and another 6-year-old child, at a temperature of -1°, for €216, no refund possible!... is the Agoda hospitality .... in Braunschweig in Germany! My husband had business nearby and we stayed here because it was recommended to us. We were able to walk into town and have dinner and explore the city. The fitness room was well equipped and roomy. There was a Finnish sauna and steam sauna. Also men’s and women’s (out or order) sauna in rest room area. Two separate areas to lounge inside and outside. The hotel had bike rental available, which I did one day. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and service was very nice.

The hotel is a good standard hotel directly at the train station. The noise level at closed window is in order. The rooms are large enough; the equipment is in order. There is nothing to challenge in matters of cleanness! A safe in the room would be desirable and the minibar contained only one bottle of water. The staff was very friendly, but there was only one person and a longer snake at the check-in. All in all for service trips and short urban trips to be recommended.

When we stayed here for the first time in September 2008, my husband had the flu and we couldn't really enjoy the beautiful countryside next to the hotel. Now we returned to visit my mother and to attend my high school class reunion which also took place in a room at this hotel (beautiful room) which was downstairs. We had the same suite (257) that we had 7 years ago and everything was perfect again. It's lovely to have two bathrooms and two showers. Quel luxe :)! Also there is an extra door between living room and bed room, so you cannot hear any people in the hallway of the floor. A very peaceful hotel. The only thing we missed was air condition. Even though this was already October, it was still warm in Braunschweig. But other than that no complaints at all. The staff is very helpful and friendly, speaks English flawlessly. Breakfast was delicious like we remembered it from our first stay. If you have an extra day, I can highly recommend to drive less than half a mile towards Kreuzteich pond (just ask at the reception and they'll give you directions). You can walk around the pond and then cross the street and walk around the cloisters Riddagshausen. Ask for Kleiderfellerweg which is not far from the old house with the archway and the cloisters. There's also an area where several old farming houses have been renovated in the early 1970's. Turn into the small lane next to the shoemaker and park your car there. You will see the farm houses right there.
