"Stayed one night at the Kirishima Mountain La Vista Hotel, the environment is quiet, the front desk and restaurant staff are enthusiastic and polite, in addition to the public baths there are three private soups, no reservation, no one can use the reservation.
After registration at the front desk, you can also enjoy a welcome drink, plum or other Japanese sake, and you can have coffee and tea with unlimited refills.
There is also a private open-air bath in the room where you can soak in a hot spring. The hot spring water is very hot, so be careful.
Enjoy Italian cuisine at the restaurant on the night of your stay, six courses are very delicious, and ramen for supper from 10pm to 11pm.
Breakfast the next morning was also very rich.

"Facilities: Formerly the Royal Hotel, the west wing has only undergone exterior renovations. Therefore, I booked the newly renovated east wing. The rooms are predominantly wooden, and the twin-bed Japanese-Western style rooms are quite nice. The onsen (hot spring) is a mild sulfur spring, and the outdoor pool is nice. However, it's not the main sulfurous white spring in the area; those would likely be more therapeutic. There's a heated swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, a playroom, and a children's play area.
Cleanliness: Good
Environment: Located next to Takachiho Ranch, it's situated on high ground, offering views of Sakurajima to the south, making it a good spot for sunset viewing.
Service: Good. Semi-electric bicycles are available for rent, currently free."

"Because the night plane arrived at the airport, the accommodation booked in the case of inconvenient transportation, I didn't expect it to arrive before 22:00. The proprietress was very nice and kind. 🥹 has been waiting for me! Although the language was not available, she kindly told me the bus schedule. The next morning, it rained heavily and personally sent me to the station. I was very touched. 💗 was very warm.
Because I arrived very late and left very early, although the accommodation environment is an old-fashioned hotel, but the things are very complete and clean (the shoes can not be worn into the hotel) I always feel that the boss is very careful to operate it is commendable 👍"

"The environment is good. Maybe it’s because of winter, but there’s no loud noise. It’s quite peaceful. In order to not have to look for food around, I decisively decided to stay there and have two meals. Dinner was Kaiseki cuisine. I always thought I had a big appetite. Good guy. I'm so full of this meal! Although the portions are small, they add up to a small amount 😂😂. The breakfast is also good and beautiful, but the soup is not good, it is too salty. You can have a cup of coffee after eating☕️. The single hot spring room can be used by families or couples alone. There is a shopping street next to it, so those who want to buy things can have multiple choices."

"My sincerest gratitude to the professional service and helpfulness of the front desk staff in particular the Div. Manager, Mr. Atsuyoshi Kubota, who patiently search for available medical service during late hours for treating my wife's injury and also voluntarily arrange a staff to accompany us to the hospital. Ram Kumar, the accompanying staff, is instrumemental in our communication to the medical personnels and he is so kind to arrange late dinner for us at the hotel's discretion. They not only demonstrate the highest level of professionalism but also their genuine care of the well being of the customers.
Once again, big big thanks to Mr. Kubota and his team of beautiful people.

Yu Garden is located in Kirishima, about a 10-minute taxi ride from the Yiren Station. It takes about 15 minutes by car from the hotel to Kagoshima Airport. "Before making a reservation, I hesitated because of the lack of information, but after checking in, I was sure that it was the best choice. I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days.
Advantage 1. Private hot spring
I was happy because I could soak in the bathtub at any time. I stayed at a private hot spring ryokan in Yufuin, but that place had a structure where you couldn't see outside. You can see the river from the bathroom at Yuyuan. Plus, you can see Sakurajima!
Advantage 2. Cleanliness
Even if you walk barefoot, your soles are clean. There is no dust anywhere in the room. Even the outside of the window is clean.
Advantage 3. Spacious room
When I travel, I always choose a room that is at least 25 square meters. It's uncomfortable if it's small. The room I stayed in was 50 square meters. It was spacious for two people.
Advantage 4. Meals
I had seasonal dinners twice and breakfasts twice, and I ate at the restaurant on the second floor. It was very comfortable because it was a private room. The taste was also excellent. I was even more satisfied because the dishes were made with Kagoshima specialties.
Advantage 5. Friendly staff
I felt warm staying at a hotel with friendly staff. They were people I want to meet again!
The only downside.
I took the bus. It was a small bus, not a bus that puts your luggage in the luggage compartment, so I was confused. Of course, this is not a problem for those who take a taxi or rent a car. It is not a good location for those who want to be in a busy area. If you like to take a walk while enjoying the quiet and beautiful scenery, it would be an excellent choice. It was a happy time for me. I walked to Kagoshima Shrine. I gave carrots to a beautiful horse and prayed. Yuyu-an is the perfect place for healing^^"

"1. Location: The hotel is at the foot of the shrine, and you can go up the mountain at any time within 2 minutes. The environment is particularly good, quiet, and can sleep in the mountains. 2, facilities: in addition to a little old, the other should have everything - the shared bathroom is next to it; the endless source of hot spring water with a smell of sulfur, want to soak it; teapot tea cups complete tea, special thirst quenching after the hot spring bath, there is one person A local refreshment - biscuits... 3. "This is a hot spring where you can enjoy a mud pack. It's fun, so I recommend you try it. However, I think the hot spring will be enough on your way home. There are no amenities such as lotion, so you need to prepare. The rooms in the main building feel like a Showa-era inn. If you are used to convenient hotels, it may be a little inconvenient, such as taking a long time to get hot water in the bathroom (apparently the boiler is far away). I think it will be lacking in many ways for those who want to enjoy something out of the ordinary."

The hotel has only five rooms, Shaodong has stayed in the United States, can speak fluent English, and the proprietress can also speak simple English. AAnonymous UserOne of the best hotels I have ever stayed in is an old hot spring hotel. It is said to have been passed down from generation to generation. The Japanese-style garden design is very beautiful. The Japanese-style room we booked was very spacious and included breakfast and dinner. The hotel has its own farm and ingredients. They are all sourced from their own farms, and Wagyu beef can be delivered all over Japan. The breakfast is very exquisite, and for dinner you can enjoy Kaiseki dishes such as Wagyu beef and lobster. The dining service in the room is very good, and you can also choose to eat in the restaurant. The hotel service is very good, providing daily pick-up and drop-off services to the airport, Hayato Station, and Kokubu Station. The hotel staff will proactively ask if you need to make a reservation for pick-up every day, and provide one-on-one pick-up with high-end vehicles. There is free freshly ground coffee in the lobby and free minibars in the rooms. There is a private bath in the room, which can be used indoors or outdoors. The free public bath has three outdoor hot spring pools and one large indoor hot spring pool. The hot spring water is so hot that you will sweat after soaking in it for a while. It is a rare carbonated spring in Japan. Opposite the hotel is a large supermarket with a variety of Kagoshima specialties and fresh ingredients, as well as a convenience store. There is a young lady who can speak Chinese. The whole experience was very good, will definitely come again!

GGuest UserThe hotel is not big but very beautiful, the service is good, the food is very delicious, and the hot spring mineral content is high. Thank you to the restaurant staff for their patient and friendly Chinese, English and Japanese services, and thank you to the front desk lady for helping us contact the bus down the mountain on a snowy day. I want to come to this hotel again. Highly recommended.
