"Arrived at the hotel late and there was no lots available. Same situation the next morning but the receptionist was kinder to let me park at the lot near the carpark shutter. Super grateful for that as I have other belongings in the car that I couldn't shift to the hotel room. The hotel aircon cooler wasn't checked before our check-in, so the water leaked from the cooler on our first night of stay. On our second night, we approached another receptionist to ask about laundromat nearby the hotel. She guided us to a 24hr laundromat that was non-existent. It was a wasted trip. And no, I will not be back."

"We love this place. Unique little touches that make it special. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent quality linen and decent big towels. The bath in Oasis room was luxury - just needed some bubble bath or salts to make it A+. Restaurant is lovely and breakfast buffet was delicious and included in our room rate. Thanks so much we will be back again. Thank you for letting us upgrade to late checkout. Close to airport and easy to get to."

"I have to highly commend you on your staff members, especially Hamal (I'm sorry I hope I have that right) on reception. She is just the loveliest person and such a great welcome to your hotel. We had a food and beverage credit so dined at Tiger and were very impressed with our meal and service. Paid parking was great and secure. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was good. Unfortunately we probably won't stay again as the noise of the road, the hallway, and lack of sound proofing between rooms made it quite difficult to sleep. But I think I'm sensitive to noise."

"I originally booked this hotel on agoda, however as the reception told us that they cant find our booking as we reached them, and she told us that agoda made a mistake on the address of the hotel I booked (which is their sister hotel, on Hobson St) under their address! At last we made a new booking to stay here with trip.com, as the condition of the other Hotel Grand Chancellor was HORRIBLY OLD! Hope the hotel management will fix this issue with agoda ASAP!!

"This is a lovely new hotel not far from the airport, brilliant for late arrivals and early departures. We enjoyed a nice dinner via room service and well stocked breakfast buffet, which is important because there seems to be no eateries around the area. The staff were great and facilities were clean and new. There is a very busy airport hotel bus and you need to buy your ticket in advance from the machine at the bus pick up zone. It's a challenge if lots are trying to get on, with luggage. We tried that one way but got an Uber back the next day, and it was cheaper, quicker and so much easier for 2 people."

"I’ve stayed at Heartland Hotel twice and both experiences were excellent. The location is very convenient, being close to the airport, and the free airport shuttle makes travel stress-free.
The customer care service is outstanding—staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The rooms are spacious, spotless, quiet, and cosy, with all the amenities promised readily available. I especially appreciated the complimentary room service, which was a nice touch.
Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with breakfast served buffet-style offering plenty of variety. The hotel also has great facilities including a gym and swimming pool, which added to the comfort and relaxation of my stay.
Overall, Heartland Hotel provides excellent value, comfort, and service. I would highly recommend it to anyone travelling through or staying near the airport."

GGuest UserLuxurious and excellent stay in the heart of Auckland. Booking here was a no-brainer as it's one of the newer and more modern hotels in Auckland CBD + the newness of the bedroom amenities and hotel facilities really showed. The footbridge on level 4 connects this hotel to the older SkyCity Hotel across the street and made it really easy to take shortcuts to avoid traffic (plus great to use in wet weather). The only thing I raised with reception though was I specifically requested a room with nice city views, but was advised I'd have to pay an extra ~$350 NZD per night as these rooms were located on level 8 and onwards. I only knew of this after I entered the room, and noticed a distinct shadow being cast into the room. Turns out we got a room facing the new multi-level carpark being built, so didn't get direct sunlight or nice views. The other thing to note is, this hotel doesn't have a pool. Otherwise, if you're looking to stay somewhere close to shops and restaurants, this is a great option as everything is close in walking distance.

TTravelling.247Good hotel and very close to the airport, motorway and heaps of restaurants and take away. Massive parking area with secure parking. Interconnecting room was very basic and television never get connected. Later in the evening couldn't sleep due to noise from next door. But after having chat with reception they changed our room. Experience at the reception was pleasant however as they sort the problem at the end, send room was nice quiet with comfortable bed.. Check out was smooth and easy. Over all Great property ideal location, peaceful and family friendly hotel.

encountered 2 issues:-
1) The door to balance is left opened.... hotel would not provide a key to lock it... as no key is given out... the lock may be incorporated in the door handle when lifted.. appeared this particular door may not be installed properly..
2) Very strange - The receptionist refused to reserved a parking space for me for some reason... (under 3 separately occassion, day after check-in, day before needing to use and the actual morning of the day of use).. and when i drove the rental car to the hotel.. it was full as apparently; i did not book....

DDeevanyah FrostWe just had an unexpectedly delightful experience at the Waiheke Island Motel, so much so that we added another night because we simply couldn't get enough of the place! Our stay began with a minor hitch: arriving late in the evening to find our pre-booked studio room was locked. However, the way the night manager and the team handled this was truly remarkable. They quickly resolved the issue by giving us a significant, stress-free upgrade to a spacious whole house with four bedrooms instead of our original studio. This immediate, generous response demonstrated exceptional hospitality and turned a potential frustration into the highlight of our trip. The motel's location is ideal; it offers a wonderfully quiet and peaceful atmosphere, yet it's in very close proximity to both the shops and the beach. We appreciated the on-site pool and the spa options, and the minute's walk down to the community Saturday market was a fantastic bonus. Our only piece of constructive feedback relates to the spa itself—unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard, which was a slight disappointment. Despite the minor issue with the spa, the exceptional service, comfortable accommodation, and prime location mean we had a fantastic trip. Crucially, the price was quite reasonably priced compared to other places on Waiheke, offering excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Waiheke Island Motel!

TTaylor Alicia JosephineBeing in town for an overnight staycation with attending to Auckland Cabaret Festival event, I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Marsden Viaduct Hotel. My room was beautiful with a wonderful balcony view and bubble bath to pamper in as highlights. Within close walking distance to bars, restaurants and a captivating vista of the viaduct, it’s a wonderful way to feel elsewhere on holiday whilst being in the heart of the city. I’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

The bedroom walls needed to be cleaned il.one of the beds sheets is so stained and one had bird faeces luckily the other bed sheets seemed ok so we stayed in that
The bathroom was clean but the towels had marks on them so we ended up using the hair dryer to dry ourselves .
