Owners and staff are really really nice. No faults or complaints here. Huge outfit to run. Just a few things needing attention. We had a cake in one of the drawers in our bedroom. Main light shade in the room was really thick with dust. Windows and window dressing for the rooms could so with a massive clean or update. Great location. Good enough room just perhaps needs a bit of TLC

We came as part of a hospitality package for Brechin City. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Food was absolutely delicious - both the food provided as part of the hospitality package and also breakfast the next morning. The staff were absolutely wonderful and couldn’t have done more for us. We will definitely back here when supporting the mighty hedgemen!

This is the 2nd time my friends and I have met to eat here for a week day lunch. Delightful service and delicious food in a clean and attractive bar/restaurant. Parking is easy and for those wishing to take public transport, the bus stop is just outside. Will definitely be back.

We went out for meal we had sri lankin curry and fish and chips they were both very good and sugath and aunty were good to the customers and the service was good as well and good atmosphere it was nice and warm in hotel I would recommend it to other people

Popped in for a lovely hot lunch on a freezing Sunday in January. Nice, warm, cosy, restaurant, with a full bar and friendly staff. I had the lasagne with garlic bread and my wife had chicken korma with poppadom. Treated ourselves to beer/wine and coffee/tea afterwards. We'll be back.

Great place in a country side with cozy and welcoming! exceptional food and service ! We booked through our Scotland road trip and ideal location with local amenities. Room service and bar / restaurant were super friendly and helpful as ever. Restaurant serves great choice of food and Haggis were great ! What a gem ! Would book again.

Sampled curry takeaway for the first time last night- really superb. Nice clear and short menu and the curries have that authentic home made taste. The Samosas were exceptional. Definitely be going back. also very reasonably priced. Service was very friendly and easy to order.

We decided to try the Northern's takeaway curries tonight to celebrate a birthday.Very tasty, well presented in individual trays ,good value and great friendly service. Well worth a visit. Will definitely return and recommend. Remember to take cash to pay

Came here with work and was booked in for 10 days. This hotel is a turgid and horrible establishment that at one point in its past was probably quite a nice hotel. The owner has invested nothing into upgrading the rooms and they are dirty and depressing. The beds are the worst I have ever slept in and and only be described as a bag of springs. It was so bad that I checked out after one night. Don’t waste your money staying here it really is rubbish and if it were not for the fact that the whole are is, for some reason, seemingly devoid of good hotels, they would be out of business.
