Attending a conference in Brest we booked a ‘comfort double room’ at this hotel because of its convenient location, close to the conference centre. There was no hotel bar and we didn’t have a mini-bar in our room but there were several good restaurants and cafés close by. Our air-conditioned room was on the smallish side, but there was enough room to store our luggage and we had a small balcony. The bedding was good and the room was very quiet. Like so often in hotel rooms, the light over the desk and the beside tables wasn’t optimal for working. In the bathroom, there was a shower over the bad, but we were very happy to find there was no loud ventilation. Note that some amenities, like a Nespresso machine, bathrobes and slippers and complimentary NUXE toiletries, are reserved for the luxury rooms (‘grand comfort). We had NUXE mini soaps, a NUXE soap dispenser (in the shower) and a body lotion dispenser above the sink, which we at first mistook for another soap dispenser. There was a kettle and some instant coffee and Lipton tea Lipton bags. No glasses or cups were provided, only disposable cardboard and plastic cups. Not what you would expect in a four-star hotel.

Excellent four star quality hotel (for some reasons the hotel has only three stars). The price/quality ratio comparing to other hotels in the city was excellent. Location is very good (quiet + central). I stayed in their most basic room. Although it was relatively small, its design and comfort were very good (perhaps the only remark would be the shower cabin design, which looked a bit outdated). I was surprised by the quality and choice of breakfast (did not expect much as it was not expensive given hotel standards). The breakfast is served in hotel's restaurant ("Cosy"), which is very nicely decorated. In the first day of my stay the breakfast was delivered to my room (I could choose its content the day before). The restaurant itself is very good (tried it once for lunch). Finally, the stuff was helpful and smily. Overall, I was positively surprised, that is, I got far more than I expected.

Very good breakfast. Quiet rooms. Very helpful personnel. Comfortable bed. Wifi internet working without breaks. I liked walk-in wardrobe section that I could keep luggage. Great location in city center but slightly away from main traffic, nice restaurants nearby. I enjoyed my stay. Definitely first choice if coming back to Brest.

La Paix was perfect in every way. The staff was courteous, friendly, patient, and very helpful. The room was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Despite being in an urban area, the noises of the city were noticeably absent in my room. Finally, the breakfast was amazing. Wide selection to suit all tastes.

I can not fault the service I received from the staff at La Paix Hotel Contemporain from start to finish. I booked a work trip for a group so had various questions before we arrived, all my email were dealt with efficiently, and in excellent English, which I have to say was a big help! The staff we very friendly and helpful and all my requests (such as help with booking taxis etc.) were accommodated for. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and a welcome start to the working day. The hotel was also in a good location and although my room was at the front of the hotel I found it to be very quiet. I would highly recommend the hotel and commend the team for their excellent customer service. I would definitely look to stay at this hotel again next time I'm in Brest.

Gran hotel! Nos sentimos muy bien acogidos en todo momento. Hotel centrico y a pesar de ello pudimos aparcar practicamente delante de la puerta del hotel. En àrea de pago però no Caro, de hecho a partir de las 19 y hasta las 9 de la mañana no se paga. Hablamos resevado una habitacion clàssica , suficiente y espaciosa. Aire acondicionado centralizado però que tu puedes apagar o encender . Nuestra reserva incluiia el desayuno que fue delicioso. En definitiva gran hotel , però la ciudad no nos gusto demasiado , era una escala necesaria para ir al dia siguiente al faro de Saint mathie.

Dès l'arrivée et pendant tout le séjour, le personnel est a l'écoute et nous invite a la discussion sur nos activités du soir (par exemple). Ils sont de bon conseil. La chambre était vraiment classieuse, j'en ai rarement vu équipée d'une Nespresso avec 2 cartouches offerte. Etant allé pour le travail, j'ai très bien dormi et le petit dej était vraiment bon et donnait plein de force pour la journée! Dommage que madame n'ai pas pu m'accompagner...

esprit contemporain pour la décoration et le confort des chambres ,bien placé pour sillonner le centre ville à pied,quartier animé ( magasins, restaurants ,boutiques spécialisées ,épiceries fines ,chocolatiers ,sans oublier les halles St Louis ),après "l'activité brestoise" vous y retrouverez le calme et la gentillesse du personnel qui fait tout pour rendre votre séjour le plus agréable possible ,le petit plus :un restaurant dans l'hôtel qui vous propose des plats locaux simples cuisinés avec des produits frais et de saison
