The Bridport Bay Inn is a great place to base yourself while visiting Bridport & the North East of Tasmania. The rooms are spotless with a very comfortable bed & about 50m away from the pub so very quiet. The pub does awesome food & a big drink selection. It’s a friendly relaxed bar & bistro & out on the patio area in the sun is the perfect spot for a beer after a day of sightseeing. The manager Darren & his crew will make you feel very welcome.

Great affordable accommodation, great restaurant, within walking distance to everywhere, own parking bay. Friendly service. Our room had a double bed which was in the living area, along with a couch. In an ‘alcove’ was a set of bunks if needed. Most amazing shower!

Room clean and comfortable, although booked room for 3 nights, no one came near the room all that time not even to empty the rubbish bin or restock coffee, sugars, milk or towels. Went to the dining room at 7.40pm for tea, to be told that they were closing, even though advertised as being open until 8.00pm. Hotel up the road obliged us, so did not bother to go back even for a beer the rest of the stay. Staff were friendly, but no information given on arrival, meal times, internet password, expected to ask obviously. Need to work on customer relations. Will look else were next time.

Walked into bottleshop and got 3 cans of beer from the fridge and was asked if I could see,I said yes why and was told to open my ***** eyes up as there was a sign saying don't break six packs apart,I said sorry I didn't see the sign and was then abused ,so I left and said what wonderful service you have here amongst other abuse!!!

After walking through an open sliding glass door and spending $90 in the bottle shop the lady followed me out and shouted 'I'll close the bloody door then!' at me as I was getting into my car. Could be such a lovely local pub but my experience seems to accord with several other reviews here.
