budget room正對火車站和站前道路，噪音比較大。酒店比較舊了，窗户隔音不好，睡眠一般的朋友慎選。

Along the Glacier Express panoramic train route, I had a stop over in Brig at the Europe Garni hotel, just opposite the railway station and a small walk from the town centre and the Altstadt. Hotel is ok, I had a small room but clean and warm, good selection at breakfast, nice personnell. Brig is an interesting and historical city, surrounded by the mountains, worth a visit!

The hotel works well. It has a small lift to rooms and they are clean and functional (we had a room at the back which was very quiet - I imagine rooms at the front could be noisy, given it overlooks a road and the railway station). Comfortable bedding and great water pressure, and WiFi that works. Probably will need an up-date fairly soon overall. If you need to leave your case after check-out, the system is not really fit for purpose, so we chose to lug around our computers until the time came for our train to depart, later afternoon.

Our train was delayed and we arrived after closing time of the reception. One phone call and everything was sorted quickly and efficiently. They even offered to wait for us, but we were completely fine doing a self check-in. The hotel was exactly what we needed and more than we expected. Very close to the train station, in an ald building but the rooms (ours was very large) nicely renovated. Very, very comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and we really appreciated the closeness to the station as we had an early train to catch in the morning. Perfect!

Highly recommend the Hotel Europe, we had a great stay. Wonderful hospitality from Matte and the team. Very clean and comfortable rooms, a decent shower and a very nice breakfast with local produce and homemade cake. Would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you for being so nice 😊
