Very nice and warm boutique hotel. The deco and furniture are authentic and tasteful. The staff are kind. We are offered a welcome drink. The breakfast was good. Made to order omelette was very yummy.
The downside is my room was facing the bar next door. People sang till after midnight.

Picture 12 is the hotel. The other is the appearance. It is warm and retro. It is worth staying. The location is good. It is not far from the train station and in the city center. It is worth staying again. I will choose it again.

The small hotel room is not big but quite cozy. The old lady boss is very enthusiastic. We arrived very early in the morning, thinking that there might not be any available rooms to check in. The old lady said that you should have a cup of coffee in the restaurant first while I go to see if there are any ready rooms, so she asked the waiter to bring us two cups of coffee. Before the coffee was finished, she came back and said that the room was ready and you could go to the room after you finished drinking the coffee.

Pros - staff are amazing - breakfast is great quality - room clean - centrally located - safe: pass code needed to enter premise after office hours - self-service on drinks, wine, and pre-paid hot beverage (not sure what the last one means, will find out at check out) Cons - room smell of mildew/sweat (you get used to it, then it's okay) - stayed from Sun-Tue, in this super quiet town, Monday night the music (and its bass) blasts into the night (it's 22:38, hoping 23:00 it will end?) Seriously, this town doesn't need stereo music blasting.... curfew of 21:00 should be enforced here. Ear plugs are provided, but with the bass and pounding, they are useless. Sadly, everything else seems useless when you could not sleep in a hotel. Overall Minus the music, I'd stay here again for sure.

Absolutely loved this hotel. It is centrally located in Brig and a short walk to everything including the train and over a dozen restaurants. The staff here are very friendly and do a nice job keeping the place very clean and inviting. The freshly made breakfasts are so nice and the home made granola is AMAZING. The staff speak several different languages so I was able to interact with them easily in English. I loved the old keys that are used to get into the room. Bed was comfortable. There was no TV in my room but that was fine with me. My only complaint would be that there is no closet, just a hanging rack with 6 hangers. I managed okay but I do like to hang up all my work clothes for a business trip. However even with that, I would never consider staying anywhere else in Brig when I return. I also love the mascot, such a cool logo.

The room is too small to my liking. Apart from that, they offer excellent breakfast: fresh fruit, fresh bread, fresh yoghurt. Most of all, freshly made pancakes. The girl made very nice pancakes. Everything with a heart. I particularly like the dining room, nice and cosy with a style.

The hotel is easy to find, as it is straight down the main road from the train station and is an easy walk. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The honesty bar is great because you can get a variety of snacks and drinks, including coffee and wine at your leisure. The morning breakfast was good. The room, however, was a bit small, particularly the bathroom. There is no t.v. in the room, but that really didn't matter to us. The biggest drawback was the loud music from an area bar. The loud bass made it difficult to sleep as it carried on until after 1 am. This made for a tough next day when we were taking the Glacier Express. All in all, a nice place, but be aware that the music might keep you awake.
