Stunning! Arrived only for one night ( sadly). Was met by a great guy to welcome me, lovely reception , amazing interiors and a warm feeling. Gorgeous design, small room ( it was only me so that didn’t matter ). My room was welcoming, stylish and full of character. Bathroom had lovely soaps , lovely teas in the room and even a steamer to replace an iron which worked perfectly to decrease my clothes. Lovely bed , and bedding meant I had a lovely uninterrupted sleep ( which I really needed before a conference that I was hosting). I will be back, breakfast was lovely in the stylish pearly cow restaurant- and right on the sea front . Shhhhh… don’t tell everyone !

I wish to make a prediction - This will be the next ‘Hotel du Vin’ or ‘Pig’ group in the making … Sadly Hotel du Vin lost its way after the glory days .. a sad shadow of its former self .. Had a wonderful stay - everything worked and was pretty much perfect

This might be the best hotel we’ve stayed in. Lovely location, great view and decor in the room, comfy bed and super friendly (but not intrusive) staff. The bar was great, chess table was fun, breakfast at pearly cow was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

What a lovely hotel. The decor is beautiful throughout. Much attention to the small details that makes so much difference to your stay. Fabulous cocktails. Lovely food. Amazingly comfortable bed. Great service from all the staff. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent hotel. We have stayed around the corner in Artists Residence before and this k picked the spots off that and may other similar hotels. It is what Hotel du Vin used to be but better. Our room on the first floor overlooked the sea and the old pier. It was so well designed- amazing bedside lights, classy furniture, amazing bed throws well from a store you would never have guessed they were from (begins with D). The staff were all friendly and charming. Eat dinner in the Pearly Cow as well as breakfast. Great meals. Booked via Mr & Mrs Smith and were proactively offered the free cocktail that comes with booking this way - both were delicious Could not fault

We regularly stay at the sister hotel in Margate which is divine. I had high expectations for the Brighton branch. I was very disappointed. Rooms are tiny, beds are at best a large double. When we raised this I was told previous customers had said the same so they’d measured it. If people are complaining change if! Female manager (?) incredible ride and dismissive. While place feels cheaply done and rushed. I won’t be back.

The place oozes charm at every turn - I love a well designed hotel and this one has it all in spades. The reception is inviting with enough art and pottery so you know you are far from a chain hotel. Luxury is the name of the game with extremely comfortable rooms - be it the bar, the lounge or the indoor courtyard. Bedrooms, whilst those at the back have somewhat disappointing views - best not look, are extremely comfortable, with possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in ! Great shower and luxurious toiletries, proper kettle and coffee with fresh milk and a pantry for a sugar rush complete the offering. The staff are extremely friendly but with a professional demeanour. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and it was perfection on both occasions.
