What a gem , plenty of parking, ( Don't pay on arrival if you are staying overnight). Staff very helpful. The room was was perfect, comfy bed, breakfast biscuits and a sink. Shared bathroom and toilet but equally nice too. Will definitely re visit.

Nancy our server was lovely, would defo come back again! The food was so great, and the music and atmosphere is amazing. Would definitely recommend the roast beef and the triple cheese pizza. The food came out at a hood time and the portion sizes where perfect xx

We stayed here for two nights on a visit to Bristol. The location is a couple of miles from the city centre but that suited us. We were travelling by bike and were allowed to store our bikes securely behind the pub which was very helpful. Our room was large and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Everything was clean and it looked like everything had been recently decorated. Although we were directly above the bar and could hear some noise, everything was quiet after eleven so it wasn't a problem. I think overall the room was good value but a couple of things could have made it even better, for example the curtain has a gap at the side allowing light from the external pub lights to shine directly onto the person sleeping on the right hand side of the bed, I partially solved this by putting a cushion on the window sill. But that didn't stop the early morning sunlight streaming in. Maybe a roller blind might help? Also there was a rack for hanging clothes but no clothes hangers and in the shower it would have been helpful to have a shelf for shampoo ect. But overall it was a convenient place to stay that was clean and had somewhere safe for our bikes..

Fantastic pub with fantastic offers and fantastic staff. On Mondays it's £3.00 a pint for ale on Tuesday it's quizz night Wednesday is pizza night and so on. Make sure you book for the Sunday roast. The feel of the place is relaxed, friendly and welcoming. The staff are all just amazing and make you feel part of it all instead of just a customer. I will keep on coming back for sure.

My partner stayed here while I was in hospital in February and was so impressed has asked me to write a review. Within walking distance of Southmead it was in an ideal location which was topped off by being ran by very friendly landlord and staff. Food was good quality and room was perfect. Highly recommended and from me personally want to say thank you for making a difficult time for us easier.

Great pub/restaurant. Came here recently with my family to enjoy an evening meal. We were served by a blonde girl called Melody who was very welcoming and accommodating for us. Lovely Staff, food and atmosphere as well as an ambient beer garden. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
