Wifi didnt work, tv would constantly cut out, infested with bugs, room does not look anything like the photos. Stains on couch and carpet, mattress horrible, bathroom unclean and kitchen falling apart. You also have to clean your room before checkout but no cleaning products to do so. Would never stay again or recommend to anyone.

Washing machine leaks..Really dirty .Disgusting mop/ broken Mismatch broken chairs, furniture &kitchen ware Dishwasher not working , filthy, stinks! No notification of house keeping so don’t plan around that! Sofa bed filthy and beyond uncomfortable Pool out of order the entire stay! Fridge soooo old … multiple other issues

We had the best time!! Perfect, clean modern room. Staff were fabulous. Close to everything. Could pop down to Woolies within minutes. We didnt want to leave and will definitely stay there again. Everything was too easy. So many restaurants to choose from within minutes walk and half a block to the beautiful beach. Such a beautiful small complex basically had the pool and spa to myself most days. Couldn't fault Aruba Sands. Definitely recommend!!!

Absolutely loved our stay. Close to the beach, perfect for families. Always had the pool to ourselves. Kellie was amazing and even helped us with some sensitivities I have, super kind and helpful. It’s a wee hidden gem, very private and so affordable. Will stay here next time we come to Broadbeach. The price reflects its age so anyone wanting five star should adjust their expectations. I honestly wouldn’t stay anywhere else, it was a perfect fit for our family.

Be careful booking with American Express Travel, ******* or any other agent that has this advertised as a 4 star accommodation. I had it booked for 2 weeks but left after 1 night. The place had ant infestation, the mattress was just spring and has no quilt, there was mold in the shower, broken light, moldy kitchen, broken fridge. And to top it all off someone broke into my apartment in the evening when I was out. When I confronted the manager who was off her face, she kept stumbling over her words. Which I believe it was her that went in my apartment and through my belongings.

The Aruba Has nice clean rooms, great water pressure in the shower, pool is great and is so close 2-5 mins to the beach and the Trams/light rail Nice friendly stuff which very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and the attractions in and around the area

We found this Resort very over priced for what we got. The mattress was VERY hard and uncomfortable. !!!!! The TV kept on going off the TV channel onto an internet sign in and no instructions there at all for TV or Air Conditioning etc. ALL the door locks on the building were very old so each time we had to unlock etc very hard turing at least twice etc to get in and had to use BOTH Hands. I will NOT be every going to one of those resorts again !!!!!!! I would NOT recommend these motels for anyone else to use and the Restaurants they give a voucher for the food was VERY overpriced and was Not a good quality at all. You can get a better value meal at a Genuine PUB !!!!!!!!!

We loved our stay at Aruba Sands. Honestly the location is amazing. It couldn’t get any better. It was exactly what we needed. Our children loved the pool and hot tub and it was just us in it every time we went down. The rooms had most of what we needed in it but I knew it was self contained going into it (I prefer it honestly) and it wasn’t a problem. We did a big shop at Pacific Fair on the first night and with Woolworths and easy stroll we topped up on things we forgot easily. Would have liked it there were a few more plates and bowls, only because my kids make dishes like crazy. Not a huge problem though. The workers were all lovey when we passed or if we needed anything. My only concern was that the water temperature in the shower kept changing. Not too big of a problem for my husband and I but I was concerned with letting the children shower alone. As for comment that said it was a scary backstreet and she felt unsafe. I went walking alone some nights and early some morning and never felt unsafe. Thank you Aruba Sands. We will be back.
