Went for Sunday lunch as a treat for my mum's birthday and we both had an amazing time. Food was delicious and good sized portions and the staff were friendly and efficient. Also, the clive collection red wine was some of the nicest red wine I've had. I'm already planning on my next trip with my husband for Sunday lunch again.

Everything about this place was of a very high standard. Our room was nicely furnished and extremely clean. Staff were lovely and friendly. We ate in the restaurant twice and had beautifully presented, tasty meals. The whole complex ( farm shop, distillery, etc) was very interesting and added to the whole experience. Definitely be back.

We were on a long trip taking in a number of locations and had to change plans last minute. We chose Ludlow as a place visited briefly many years ago and down for a must return. There was no particular reason for deciding upon The Clive Arms, although I am a “Clive”, but what a gem this turned out to be. The staff on arrival and throughout were fab, friendly, helpful and professional. The room was spacious, very well appointed and equipped. Food was yum and the “sister establishment” next door great for breakfast. The farm shop and distillery amazing additions in the hospitality complex. Great mixture of old and new. There are beautiful walks in the area and a convenient bus service into town. I thoroughly recommend, and 100 per cent enjoyed our 2 nights at The Clive!

A fantastic bedroom with lovely bathroom. Great location to drive into Ludlow and surrounding countryside. Though the staff provided a small jug of oat milk for us in the room, the restaurant and breakfast kitchen didn't have any the following morning. The 3a.m. fire alarm provided an interesting interlude, though morning staff did not seem to be aware of our overnight experience!

I booked an overnight stay & dinner for my mom as birthday treat to visit the distillery on site. I have to say overal I was very dissapointed with services provided and the customer service was non existent. I have tried raise this complaint with many members of staff and noone has bothered to contact me back. The first room we was given wasn't very clean and very cold. The heating wasn't sufficient for the room and the bed sheets had blood stains on, we was moved to another room which was much cleaner. The main issue was getting a knock the next morning by a very aggressive cleaner, arguing with us that "one room was hot one room was cold." Which in fact wasn't the truth, when we tried to explain the situation to her, she got very agitated with us. Proceeding to tell us that they renovating the place but only with cheap stuff and didnt do proper job. I do not expect this at all from staff at the clive arms, especially after paying £125 for room and spending over £80 in restaurant. Just be aware that you could get better experience staying in Travelodge down the road. I personally won't be staying or visiting the clive arms again as I notified a member of team on morning, said someone would call me, no-one did. I followed up with email and had no response. This is the worse customer experience I have ever experienced.
