Premier Inn Bromsgrove Central

The service was good and the food was great, thank you. Some of our group were looking for freshly made food from scratch which was not realistic The team were great and did all they could to help us and we have been a big group. Thank you for a great a great stay!

Very friendly staff, prompt service and room very clean, plenty of onsite parking aswell. Young girl dropped our drinks at the table and the rest of the team quickly come to clear up and resolve the issue, Window in room 61 Needs tightening as when it’s closed the right hand side of the window doesn’t seal.

I had to ask to change my room on arrival, the bed wasn't made properly and pillowcases were missing. The restaurant has absolutely horrible service, most waiters/waitresses didn't care at all to make my meal nice, I had to ask for various items like cutlery, or for bread to be topped up at breakfast. On my first night, I was hoping to get another glass of wine, I waited half an hour for waitress to approach my table but she blatantly ignored me, so I decided to leave instead. And food was disgusting - I ordered fish and chips on my first night, the fish was cold and really dry, likely cooked from frozen, and the batter was overdone and slightly charred. Peas were dry, so, likely were made in microwave and overdone as well. Sticky toffee pudding was just sad, it was clearly reheated as it had inconsistent temperature throughout. Breakfast - whilst poached eggs were decent, baked beans were warm not hot, and bacon was so overdone it crumbled when I tried to cut it. Hashbrown was undercooked and was inedible as a result. Second night dinner - I observed 3 customers who ordered fish and chips and all plates were returned to the kitchen. I ordered a chicken burger and side ceasar salad. Chicken in my burger was once more overdone and really dry. The salad is advertised to have cheese shavings - I had very big chunks of cheese instead, it looked like someone chopped it with a butcher knife. With regards to dessert, I ordered choc brownie with ice cream, and I was disappointed with that too, the brownie was overbaked and dry rather than nice and gooey. Next day breakfast - cooked items were slightly better, there was a different chef in the kitchen. However, I had to ask for wholemeal bread and earl grey tea to be topped up and had to wait for it for quite a while.

I travel a fair bit for work, so I have my fair share of hotels, especially Premier Inn this one is one of the best ones unfortunately it's just got camera parking in its car park which I'm a bit upset about as Parking eye are one of the biggest biggest legal criminal outfits in the UK, but that's another story so beware. also, I believe they use phone jammers because there is absolutely no phone signal in the building but you still have full signal strength . I thought I would mention that if you wanna pick up on that Premier Inn, the staff are really good young friendly dynamic team always here to help and nothing is too much trouble for them and they always look after me every time I come so hats off to those five stars to the team four stars for the hotel now because you've got a bloody phone issue and also the Parking eye who I am not a big fan of having had to fight them in court a number of times but I always win

Clean, quiet and comfortable room and the restaurant facilities were good (in fact I wish now that I'd eaten there rather than going to a local restaurant). Every staff member I came into contact with was pleasant and helpful. Parking was easy (and free)

We usually find that we get a good night's sleep at a Premier Inn and Bromsgrove Central was excellent. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and also efficient. We felt like special customers which helped us to relax before a trying day of medical examinations and so we will be returning very soon for the operation. No EV chargers but early days yet. We would recommend this Inn to everyone
