Great fun! Visited with two young children. Bed was very comfortable. The tent was lovely and warm, heater and heated blanket! The facilities were excellent (apart from other campers who were dirty, perhaps letting their kids use the loos unsupervised?). Perhaps some toddler seats and steps would be helpful for those with young children. The kitchen was brilliant! But bring all your own food and cooking pots etc. There was lots of free wood and lighters etc for the fire pit. We didn't use the BBQs. While I appreciate the idea is to share fire pits, there were only 4 for 8 tents and limited seating and some families weren't into sharing. The use of the castle grounds is brilliant. The grounds are stunning. The facilities for children is fantastic. Don't go to the restaurant for an evening meal with young children mind you as that was not a good experience! And the site is not silent, there is road noise from the busy nearby roads. Not that it was particularly loud or caused us any issues. The lady cleaning the facilities was very helpful and friendly. The only thing that I found annoying was the twinkling lights in the tent which you can't turn off in the night. I was the only one in the family disturbed by them but they definitely affected my sleep, but they were a nice touch in terms of decoration. Unfortunately no coffee in the tent which was annoying for my husband (there was tea and hot chocolates). Overall it felt like a Glamping experience worth the money because of the free entry to Leeds castle. And the bed was very comfortable. Tip: bring camping chairs for children.

Had an excellent nights stay in the Glamping tents at Leeds Castle. After being a few different glamping sites linked to castles, this one is the best all rounder. You can have the full glamping experience, by eating at the Castle View restaurant (which serves delicious food) or you have the facilities to bring your own food, if you want a bit more of the traditional camping experience. There are private fire pits for each tent (with wood provided), access to a bbq and a proper kitchen. The tents are spacious, warm and well themed. The bed is comfy and it’s nice to have your own outdoor area. There are complementary items in the tent, such as tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water, as well as cups and glasses. The washing facilities are great. Just walk up a few meters to the cottage which contains proper showers, toilets and hair drying facilities (free shampoo etc provided and hairdryer). Again, you have the option of cooking your own breakfast, having a sausage/bacon roll or going for the full breakfast menu. For the cost of the glamping you also get free access to the castle and grounds - try the maze, it’s brilliant. We came for a fun night away, but could easily be a family holiday for a few more nights.

Our first experience of glamping and it was great! The tent was spacious, tidy and clean and contained a very comfortable four poster bed, dressing table, chair, coatstand and heater. There was no door key obviously because it was a tent! But we felt safe. Shower and bathroom facilities were clean and convenient and a short walk to the main house. There was also a kitchen which we didn't use as well as barbecue and fire pit. Plenty of secure parking as the site is accessed via a gated entrance and intercom. Tickets for Leeds Castle were included in the price of the stay (two days for a one night stay) and we had a brilliant time! I would have no hesitation in recommending this unique experience.

Really fun experience! Went with a group of friends. The castle and grounds are nice to walk around. Kids loved the sand pit, and playground. We had a great bbq and enjoyed the peaceful evening where our kids could play safely and we could enjoy the fire pit!

We stayed for 2 nights with 2 under 5s and we’re really glad we did. It’s a fab family break, the out of hours access to Leeds Castle grounds makes it feel really luxurious. A few things I would really have appreciated knowing before the stay: - Knights Cottage (where the kitchen and showers are) is further from the tents than I was expecting and up some steps. It took a while to convince my two little ones they really did need to walk that far! I was very grateful we’d taken a portable potty for them to use before bed. - It was August but the tents got cold at night. Both kids woke up cold the first night, so I made sure to put extra blankets on them when we went to bed. - A few people had trouble with the BBQ and had to resort to takeaway pizza. It is a bit stressful, but there’s a microwave as a backstop. - There were signs up saying not to change the temperature of the showers, but they were too hot for my kids. We weren’t there too long so it didn’t really matter.

A group of 16 of us (8ad 8ch) stayed last night. I've got to say, for us as a group, it was brilliant. We had 4 tents in a row, each tent was encapsulated in its own area with fruit trees and grape vines. The tents were lovely. Exactly as advertised and the heater was very welcome for the chilly morning. We had a group bbq for tea although there are only 4 bbqs for 8 tents so potentially a space issue if there are 8 separate groups for example. Kids loved being able to access the grounds after closing and had a ball. The grounds and facilities are beautifully kept and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend to others and visit again.

We had a lovely stay here for our 32nd wedding anniversary. The staff were all really welcoming and helpful and the tent a home from home. The tent was really comfortable with everything you could need provided. We loved the little touches - fairy lights, robes, electric blanket and hot water bottles should they be required. We ate at the on-site restaurant, so didn’t use the BBQ facilities at the site, but they seemed really good and everything you could need to cooking was provided. The families there certainly seemed to be enjoying them. The bathrooms were fine - clean and functional, but did get a little crowded first thing in the morning. There are 8 tents but only 3 bathrooms. All in all, we would certainly recommend. Something different and a wonderful way to spend a night or two. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
