Jufa Hotel Bruck an der Mur - im Weitental

Our trip was not really that comfortable or enjoyable in this hotel overall. The only positive thing I can mention is the nature close to the hotel but otherwise the whole experience was shallow. First when we got there all the parking spots were full in the 400 metres radius of the hotel because there was a biking event. The stuff told us to just find a spot in the city and come back when it is over in 3-4 hours. Not only we found this very disrespectful (we did not even get a 'sorry'), we had to carry our 15+ kg bag on a very steep road up to the hotel which again - was around 400 metres down the road. I think this would have been just fine if the management sent us an email prior to our visit to expect this situation but we did not get any notice so it was very annoying. If we hadn't payed our stay beforehand I would have gone to a different hotel in a second with this first impression. Terrible way to treat customers in my opinion. Staff was fine but they were never really helpful or nice, we barely got a smile or any kind words. They did not even ask how we rate our stay or anything.. They did not care about us as guests at all other than bare minimum. My other complaint would be that we wanted to have a quiet holiday but the hotel was full of children groups and it was loud almost all the time. I would not recommend this for this purpose. I'd not return here ever, I think there are much better options in the area.

Jufa took my money after I pad online but did not honor my reservation and payment claiming that it was paid for a different t hotel at a different date, despite me showing them the reservation. They told me that my reservation was therefore forfeited as no down payment was received. I gave up on the 80 Euros I and paid and we stayed somewhere different. Despite all of fine above, they just sent me a bill for the original booking that they did not honor and they are refusing to refund me. What a mess and what a terrible experience!!
