Back to our first hotel from 12 years ago. Again, we liked it. The location, around the corner from our favorite restaurant Tanuki, is the best. Reception is very friendly, parking is fine, garden room on the first floor is clean and fine, but noisy with the neighbors. Breakfast is expensive, but delicious and complete. Thanks for two great days with Valentine's Day in beautiful Bruges.

The first thing I noticed when entering my room was how dark it was. Very trendy I’m sure but I had to use the torch on my phone to find something I dropped on the floor. The dark colour scheme did not help. Room was comfortable enough and the shower decent. There is a Nespresso machine in the room. The on site car park is a whopping 30 Euro and so is the breakfast. 30 Euro for a breakfast that I had to order the night before (due to not many people staying that day). The portions turned out to be tiny. The receptionist waived the breakfast cost fortunately. So the room cost is reasonable but soon adds up when you factor in parking and breakfast, especially if there are 2 people staying, and becomes rather pricey.

Visited this lovely hotel on 29th Nov for 3 nights. We had booked a double garden room and a single garden room and we were all delighted with our very comfortable beds and cosy rooms. The double was upgraded to a Suite which was lovely as we had space to meet up before and after dinner. The bed linen was amazing and we slept really well. Great coffee machine plus kettle and mini fridge, water and towels every day and locations was spot on.

This was a last minute booking for me after my train to Germany was cancelled. I was in Brussels and decided to hop on a train to Brugges and made the booking on my phone on the way. I walked from the train station, about 15 minute walk, and was greeted by a wonderful woman at reception who spoke many languages including English. It was around 12:30 and I asked if I could drop off my backpack so I could look around Brugges until the 3pm check in. She checked for an available room and I got an early check in - wonderful! I had a ground floor garden room and I loved it. So luxurious. Bathrobes, kettle with tea and instant coffee, a safe, full bathroom, desk, and a large comfortable bed. Outside the room is a small wrought iron table and chairs with a view of the garden. Very peaceful. This is the type of hotel I'm meant to stay in! Hotel is a couple of minutes walk to the main pedestrian areas that have lots of chocolate shops and cafes. Keep walking and there will be more shops and cafes. Great location, wonderful staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights here and would definitely stay here again if my travels bring me back to Brugges.
