We were able to arrange a day stay here for the same cost as staying overnight. We disembarked from a cruise ship in the morning and would be flying out of Buenos Aires in the evening. The location of the hotel directly across the street from the cruise port made it very convenient. We checked in during the late morning and were able to relax and have a place to leave our bags while we explored the city. After returning to the hotel, we enjoyed the hotel pool before checking out in the evening.

The hotel is new, the interior design of the room is modern/minimalist which is beautiful. The only problem was the WiFi and since I was on a business trip this was a Big issue for me. Location is not close to anything. You have to walk or get a taxi.

My partner and I are currently staying at this fantastic hotel at the port because we missed our cruise and have been in limbo for the last 3 days. The hotel is located directly opposite the cruise terminal and around a 10 minute Uber/taxi ride to most of BA’s nice neighborhoods. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and new as is the whole building. The access to the pool, gym and spa only add to make this hotel an even more appealing option when in BA. We would honestly consider staying here again even if we weren’t going on a cruise. Lastly a big thank you to the staff who have been nothing but professional, helpful and happy to deal with any requests we have asked, from paying day to day, restaurant recommendations, booking massages and organizing airport transfers. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to BA looking for a beautiful hotel at a great price point.

The service was DEPLORABLE; we went to a bachelorette party where everything was already reserved and 50% paid, and they had us FOR ONE HOUR AND FORTY-FIVE to check in. They couldn't find the reservation, then they wanted us to leave early from a room that we had reserved and paid for. The service was a disaster, they made us have a horrible time and nobody cared about making us feel welcome. To finally get into the room you have to send a WhatsApp that they respond to you at some point with the data, unsustainable. At the time of paying they also didn't remember that 50% had already been paid, a disaster. A shame because the hotel's infrastructure is beautiful, but we would definitely NOT RETURN. Value apart for the girl at check out who could have been kind and very operative.

In the last two years, I have stayed in more than 10 4/5 star hotels/complexes in Buenos Aires for work. Almarena Puerto Retiro is by far the WORST of all. It is in an extremely dangerous area, so much so that no delivery app arrives, the service of the staff is not bad, it is terrible; they are all rude, they respond poorly to any query. The breakfast is terrible, they give 4 options and it is minimalist and in Despegar they sell it as a continental breakfast.

Excellent hotel, new and great apt. Coffee needs improvement, but good. The only downside is that there are no restaurants and cafes nearby. Excellent apartment, as well as the facilities. Service was also great, very attentive and helpful staff.
