I should say after taking more than 100 people to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and having long tours , Asia Hotel in Bukhara is where I can always trust in it's quality and I would never have any doubts about any kind of services here, best location and the most hospitable staff. See you in Asia Bukhara!

Location is perfect, right in the center of Old Bukhara surrounded by sights. 2 floor only, but has around 100 rooms. Beautiful garden with "topchans" next to open air swimming pool. Breakfast is good. Good coffee as well. But most important here is personnel. Definitely here one can feel real Bukharian hospitality!

We stayed in four hotels during our time in Uzbekistan. This was probably the worst… I hesitate to say worst. Perhaps “least good” is better which is odd when another of their chain (in my opinion) was best. The place was clean, but the wi-fi simply doesn’t reach to the rooms. It works in the lobby. But that’s it. Hotel staff came up to our room, fiddled with our phones and handed them back displaying the message “Internet not Connected”. They then had the audacity to use Google translate to tell us that they had fixed the issue. Sadly the food was mediocre at best, and I feel I should whinge about the coffee machine in the dining area which wasn't really up to the demand. If you are providing breakfast for dozens of people you really can’t use the sort of machine that people use at home. Taking over a minute per cup as the queue grows and grows simply isn’t on.

Recently had 3 nights here. Nice clean room but very hot. Air con barely worked although other rooms were cooler. Mentioned it to reception but nothing happened. The United Kingdom flag was flying upside down but we mentioned it to several people but it was never changed. Breakfast was excellent but didn’t really start at the advertised time and with a couple of large groups it ran out very quickly. The pool bar had soft drinks and beers but the barman had to go and find some glasses, It is a great location and with a little tweaking could be a great hotel
