"I just stay here for a night and unfortunately it was rainy in the morning, so i couldn't explore more outdoor activities. In overall, the location is quite good, i can see mountain view from my balcony window. Room space also big enough for me and my family. Receptionist and the team were very friendly too."

"A bit disappointed, Booking 2 rooms on the trip app but once checking in the customer service information that the room booked was empty and offered another room with an additional cost of 100 million, we could refuse but because it was already night and we were reluctant to agree.
Gusthouse is new so it is still clean but the facilities are not complete like TV."

"Dari luar, nampak hotel mcm ok. Tp, Bau kulat/mold Di toilet, sinki bocor bilik 801, bilik lampu dh rosak jadi malap/ gelap. Alas kaki/rug sangat teruk dah koyak2, swimming pool kotor, buka tingkap pemandangan dinding bangunan sebelah. Sarapan dihantar ke bilik, tiada pilihan. Lokasi menarik - dekat dengan jam gadang & tunnel japang. Not recommended"

GGuest UserA simple hostel which gives a friendly and warm atmosphere as it is run by a family. Exceptionally clean, cheap, good WiFi connection, stylish ambience as u can see how nicely meticulous it is decorated by the owner Ling, who is very approachable, whom you can have a good chat with as a friend. I stayed in the capsule dorm and it is comfortable with good quality facilities, every guest should experience it, very reasonable price 130000 rupiah per night with really sumptuous breakfast.

FFarra Ahmad@I chose this hotel after reading many reviews from my country. The hotel is beautiful, located on a hill with a stunning view. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which included Padang-style dishes. However, the hotel is a bit old and has carpeted rooms, which I’m not particularly fond of. Nevertheless, it’s fine as I’m only staying for a night before heading out to explore tomorrow.

AAlvinHotel has changed name to Monopoli Inn but still reflected as Paviliun in many sites.
Hotel is in a aging building which needs much renovation. Can be musky when weather is extremely wet. Breakfast is at adjacent Monopoli Hotel.
Location is right at centre of town. Heritage building has good photo opportunities, at the inn and the adjacent hotel.

GGuest UserVery strategic place as it is super near to Jam Gadang, only couple of minutes walking distance. The staffs are nice and friendly and super helpful. Theres only 1 small lift, and it is taking forever on the lift waiting as the limit is only 5 person to be in the lift. May need to improve on the pest control as theres an incident when my nephew had a cockroach resting on his shirt (out of nowhere) while he was walking. May also need to consider the room’s air freshener (they are using coffee smell type?)
