Osborn House promotes themselves as "5 star luxury boutique hotel, providing a world class, highly personalised experience". Sadly this wasn't our experience. Maybe they were having a bad weekend or were short staffed. Our stay started well, we were greeted warmly shown to our room, a garden terrace, which was lovely. A great bathroom and lovely towels and robes. We took advantge of the spa during our stay and attended the Fire Feast on the Sunday. We were booked for couples package at the spa, which was only ok. Not "ultra lux", only the price which is to be expected. We had no Wifi in our room throughout our 2 night stay, resulting in us having to hotspot to use the Smart TV. Management did try to rectify the problem with no success. Our compensation $50 reduction off our bill. For breakfast you can choose from three dishes. Over the two mornings we tried all three. Definitely don't chose the pancakes. Both mornings it was difficult to attact the attention of staff for another coffee so gave up. The quality of the food and service at breakfast during our stay was poor. Osborn House is in a lovely location, beautiful gardens, views , but it didn't deliver on what it promised.

This is a lovely property with five star accommodation and service. Our premier suite was terrific - spacious with a very comfortable bed, sitting area and large bathroom. Lots of thoughtful touches including real tea in the room, not tea bags! Within the house there are a number of very pleasant lounge areas in addition to the main communal space. If the weather had been better, it looked like there could have been a nice view and inviting outdoor areas in which to sit. The big disappointment was the quality of the food in “The Bar” restaurant for dinner. The food was pricey and we were expecting food to match. The main restaurant was not open while we were there. Breakfast, however, was very nice. I have given the property five stars but I would have preferred to give it 4.5 as the food offering definitely needs improving.

I recently spent two nights in a Premier Suite at Osborn House with my wife. On arrival the experience was immediately special - Valet parking, drink on arrival, excellent welcoming staff and such a beautiful location and facility. We took advantage of many of the Osborn House services/offerings, enjoying the pool and spa-bath with bar service from the team. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony overlooking national parkland, played tennis and walked around the grounds. Over our stay my wife enjoyed two different treatments at the spa, both she was very happy with. There were also many a quiet corner for me to send a few emails over a glass of wine whilst she was at the spa. Our room was beautiful, quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was as good as the pictures look. On location: It was easy to get to from the Hume Hwy, and being a short drive away from Berrima, Moss Vale, and Bowral, Osborn House was also a great base for us to explore/experience the highlands. The staff were outstanding end-to-end, and couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you Osborn House for a great stay, we were sad to leave!

Quite extraordinary service and views. In the modern English country hotel style, Osborne House has wonderful spaces to eat, drink and even swim. Who would have believed the NSW highlands had views like this. If you can book one of the forest lodges..tiny houses with hot tubs/ice baths and bars. The food is good but its the service that transforms Osborne House into world class.

This is the most over rated establishment we have been to in the last, 15 years! The only positives is the staff. The room we were in had 2 chairs, both were so small I think were from a childs nursery. We did,nt pay for this. Our daughter and son inlaw generously gave it as a present. If your thinking about going to this place, DONT! I don,t give reviews like this without carefully thinking, I know every business needs to make money, but this place is not what people expect for the price! Stayed on 30 and 31st november. Sidney W.

An outstanding hotel in every way. Rooms, decor, facilities, views, dining and service are all excellent. Highlights include the proximity for bush walks in Morton National Park. An evening walk to the Glow Worm Glen is a special delight.

A Winter getaway in the Southern Highlands...add a gorgeous boutique hotel and there is a match! Cosy, nice and busy. Eclectic interior design and a roaring fire place. We stayed in one of the new Forest Lodges. They sit separate from the main hotel. Very private, spacious and well equipped, incl a fully prepped fire place! Don't forget to book a spa treatment or 2, they are wonderful! Sumptuous breakfast and a sharing 4 course dinner topped it off. Highly recommended.

We had drinks and nibbles at Georges Bar at Osborn House. Was a cold day but the outdoor patio was fully enclosed to protect us. Great view. Lovely lovely wine and cocktails. Food was nice. Next time I want to have dinner at Georges Restaurant because the room looks so amazing. Has a cosy fireplace. The whole venue is gorgeous.
