Nice rooms with great view on the national park! Close to the village, just 5 minutes walk. Good restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It's hard to believe this place is considered a budget lodge. The park view is breathtaking and unforgettable. Also, many animals come to visit often. The facilities are nice and clean, the food is great and the staff is friendly, helpful and speak great english. Prices are also fair. We've never stayed in a place like this and highly recommend Pumba to everyone.

I stayed at this beautiful place, and I highly recommend it. The food is simply delicious, Martha and Denis's service was incredible—always smiling, very professional, and respectful. And the views from my cabin are amazing!

We booked this accommodation based on reviews. Unfortunately we didn't love the rooms. They are in need of updating. The shower in particular was grim. The view was amazing and the staff are what made it enjoyable.

Pumba Safari Cottages is an absolute treasure! The location is fantastic — right by Lake Manyara National Park — giving you that feeling of being surrounded by nature yet with all the comforts you need. The cottages are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts and staff are exceptional — warm, welcoming, and always going the extra mile to make sure you feel at home. The food was another highlight: fresh, tasty, and plentiful, with a touch of local flavor. What we loved most was the peaceful atmosphere — it’s the kind of place where you can truly relax and recharge after a safari day. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, cozy, and friendly stay near Manyara. We would definitely return!

An Unforgettable Stay at Safari Cottage Lodge! My experience at Safari Cottage Lodge was absolutely incredible! The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The cottages were clean, cozy, and beautifully designed to blend perfectly with the natural surroundings. I woke up each morning to the sounds of nature and stunning views — it truly felt like a retreat in the heart of the wild. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, and the guided tours were both exciting and informative. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful yet adventurous getaway. Great place! Affordable - student friendly prices. The most kind and welcoming people working here. Beautiful view. Delicious food. Beautiful cottages😍 I think it’s owned by a local - so that is great too! Perfect place for a family, couples, backpackers (young people) and so on!
