Clean room, sweety and helpful reception, location is centre . Bounconventre ‘s sense is safe,peaceful and tiny . For via fragnicera walk lots of people stay in bounventere. My plan became suprisingly when ı wanted to go Val d’orcia. And ı stay here . But ı m happy that ı know this city.

Due to a train strike, we had to completely re-route our planned travel from Florence to Pienza. We ended up stuck in Buonconvento on a Sunday night with no busses and most taxis unavailable. We came to Hotel Ghibellino for help. The person working the front desk found and called over 10 different taxi drivers until she could find one that would take us to our hotel in Pienza. Many were personal numbers, and we would never have been able to do it on our own. She was so patient and kind - truly a lifesaver! The lobby was also beautiful and very clean. I almost wish we did end up stranded here so we could stay the night. Thank you so much Hotel Ghibellino!!!

We stayed at this hotel as part of the Via Francigena walk we did in October. It is located centrally to the town and the Via was close by. I especially want to thank and compliment Frederica, who was at the front desk and was so welcoming, helpful and efficient.

Central hotel, perfect for a trip to Buonconvento or like us who were passing through on the Francigena. Large, spotlessly clean and functional rooms with everything you need. Just a note about the bed pillows being a little low...but they brought us more....well done!

Stay during a bike trip along the Crete Senesi. Strategic position along the Francigena and the Eroica. Excellent rooms for short stays. Space available to park bikes. Friendly and familiar service. Price a little above average.

The bed is not bad but the pillows are very uncomfortable, the bathroom is perfect. Cleanliness is not lacking, much less availability and comfort. One flaw is the dinner at the Roma restaurant (the hotel restaurant) the food is good but TOO heavy, so much so that we had to leave most of the dinner. (A friend of mine vomited). The breakfast is almost excellent, all very good.

I stayed one night in this hotel with friends. The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is in the center of the town, about 200 meters from the old part, free parking, in the square in front where there is also a column for bike assistance, as it passes through the Eroica route. The rooms have the look of a business hotel, simply furnished, good soundproofing, clean, possibility of managing the internal temperature for air conditioning or heating. The bathroom was a little small with a hair dryer, but since it was November I was able to appreciate the nice hot water in the shower and the nice warm bath towel on the radiator. Abundant breakfast with sweet and savory buffet, on request served at the table you can also request a hot drink. Excellent value for money. Strategic point for visiting Montalcino and the towns of Val D'Orcia. Advised.
