The hotel is in the centre of town with clean and well appointed rooms. The staff were very helpful accommodating a large group for lunch. The lunch menu cover a lot of western dishes and local cuisine. They serve a large range of drinks including cocktails.

good value for money, flexible staff, very good bed and room. Nice breakfast buffet, excellent location for sighseeing, shopping and close to rainway station. Staff were flexible when room was occupied sometimes by one and sometimes by two people. Spouse only had to pay for breakfast.

Our stay in Burgdorf was for a concert at the Stadtcasino. The concert had been posponed and managment accepted our previous payement for the new date! Very gracious - thank you! Each of us 2 were assigned a double room for single use - once more: thanks! We had a wonderful dinner at the hote restaurant but there was a glitsch with the main course that was subject to a major delay. We decided to take a taxi to the venue in the historic old town and the director who had become aware of the delay organized and payed for the trip. We are very impressed and thankful! Rooms are practical and have everything one needs. Breakfast is delightful with many local products from the Emmental.

What we liked about our stay at the Hotel Berchtold is that the entire staff was very friendly. We had a large double room. In the morning we were allowed to have a brilliant breakfast buffet. We lacked nothing. The hotel has an underground car park and is centrally located. The train station is just a few steps away. There is a workbench in the garage that can be used to carry out minor repairs to the bike.

Beautiful and modern hotel in a quiet location. Good and friendly service. Spacious room and bathroom, but in our room both buckets were not emptied. The floor wasn't very clean either. Too bad.

Bereits zum zweiten Mal sind wir hier Gäste. Wir haben ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht, war sehr geräumig und ruhig gelegen. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, es ist ruhig, Frühstücksbuffet stimmt und alle Mitarbeitenden sind sehr zuvorkommend. Die Lage gerade beim Bahnhof ist top.
