Premier Inn Burgess Hill

I was travelling with my daughter looking at schools and chose to stay at this Premier Inn vs others in the area as it had a car-park. Check-in and out was straightforward and quick, room was clean and comfortable. Food was tasty and well prepared. What made this place was the staff who were all lovely and any request was not too much - making our stay feel more like that of a boutique hotel! Big shout out to John - or 'John the every man' as my daughter called him, who was welcoming, considerate, attentive and kind - truly made our stay. He was at reception when we arrived, the barista and front of house in the evening, Chef the following day in the evening and also in the mornings for breakfast... quite the permanent fixture! Hope he gets some rest...

We had a lovely stay at Premier Inn Burgess Hill, with a quiet room and the facilities you need when staying with two young toddlers. The staff at breakfast really made the difference though, going above and beyond to help us with anything we could need, anticipating what that would be without us needing to ask, and being super friendly to our children.

Great rooms, yes great rooms, just let down by the scruffy appearance outside - un-kept over grown car park areas, and the new restaurant for hotel guests only, meant we had to go into town to meet with friends, far from ideal - I say bring back the Beefeater and pub !

I've been staying here twice a week for the past few months for work purposes and I have to say it's one of the more friendly locations I've stayed in. The rooms are clean and temperature controlled via a in room dial. The rooms are a little tired if your gonna pic around the edges but honestly it's not a issue I've come across and the prem+ rooms when I've used them are fantastic, well equipped and VERY comfortable definitely worth the upgrade. Regarding issues I've ever had any have been rectified swiftly by the staff on shift and to a satisfactory conclusion. Now the staff, I cannot complain at all BUT two stand out by far..... Shannon & Zac! Absolute superstars these two friendly welcoming faces regularly make my nights away from my family back in Yorkshire so much more easy to the point they now know me by name and what I am likely to order for food. They honestly do go above and beyond and surely have to be inline for some kind of promotion. Would I stay here if I was paying from my own pocket ABSOLUTELY YES! also Gatwick being only 30min away is another bonus.
