Newly renovated January 22017, Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/ Burlington is ideally located off the QEW Highway. We offer convenient access to both Niagara Falls and Toronto, Ontario, which are a short drive away. McMaster University, DeGroote School of Business is less than three kilometers away, and we are only a half-hour from the Toronto Pearson International Airport. We are located one block from the Cineplex Entertainment complex featuring a movie theatre, multiple stores, outlets and restaurants. Burlington's lakefront, situated on Lake Ontario, is only minutes from our property. Our hotel is a kilometer from the Burlington Convention Center, 10 kilometers from the lakefront area of downtown and Spencer Smith Park and eight kilometers from Glen Abbey Golf Course, home to the Canadian Open. It’s a short drive to the Niagara Escarpment from our hotel, and only 1.5 kilometers from Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Take the Go Train, 1 kilometer from the hotel, to nearby Toronto or the Niagara Wineries. Included in our guest rooms is complimentary internet access, local calls and newspapers. Other amenities include a spacious workspace with Herman Miller ergonomic chair, Keurig coffee brewer, microwave, mini-refrigerator, hair dryer and iron/ironing board. Couldn’t find a smile on one employee there esp the night person her checked me in, mid day staff or AM staff , for all 5 days i stayed . Elevators messy everyday day. Towels awful. Beds okay, pillows excellent. TV older and not up to a Hilton standard. I rate this the worst garden inn I stay at. Be prepared for road noise it feels like you are in the centre of the QEW highway 24/7!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn’t stay here again for free. Food was fine and seems kitchen staff care. I don’t think anyone else there does.

The hotel is very quiet, and the breakfast is purely Western, many of which are cold, including milk and boiled eggs, which doesn't quite match my living habits. But the service staff heated the milk for me and chatted with us, very nice. When we entered the store, we asked for our credit card, saying it was a miscellaneous fee, and I paid 100 Canadian dollars. I thought it was a check-in deposit, but it was not refunded to us when we checked out. We left in a hurry and forgot to ask what the fee was. If the hotel sees it, please reply and let me know.

Staff was able to give me an early check in which I appreciated. Room was clean but seemed a little shabby. The corner of the ceiling was cracked and wallpaper buckling. The fan was only out ting out cold air even though the wall temp was set at 22.
