Nice room BUT be aware of the extremely creaky floor from the bedroom all the way through to the ensuite - never heard anything like it and I Iive in a creaky house! You're not just talking one squeaky floorboard but I think as it's a very old building there's not much they could do, this means it is literally impossible for one person to get up to use the loo in the night without waking the other. Lovely cooked breakfast in the cafe downstairs which is open for business from passers by too.

We stayed over on a Saturday night after our barge trip on the Leeds Liverpool canal. The room was bright and spotless with everything you would require. The person who checked us in was so friendly and could not do enough for us The breakfast was superb quality and again great service, we would highly recommend the Farm if you need to stay in the area.

We were regular visitors to The Farm for lunch when we lived in the area, but had never stayed there so on a recent trip back to Southport we decided to book into The Farm. We are so glad we did.The staff were very welcoming and very flexible about an early check in. Our room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. We shall stay again.

Needed a place to stay as my train(s) to Manchester were cancelled. I got the big room. Really clean, comfortable. A great location. A fantastic breakfast as well. I don't eat a lot of red meat, but I went for the bacon and sausage etc....very very good. Cooked to order. Not greasy. A nice walk via the canal too. It is rural but great family, great room, great food. I paid £60 for the B and B and that is a bargain. Highly recommended.

We found this location by accident we had camping gear to test out before going away to Wales on a camping trip. I took my 4 year old daughter and wife the fact there are chickens roaming around makes it that little bit special for kids. There is also other animals in the field that are very tame. It’s well worth a visit plus the food is great. I think if they had the restaurant/ tea rooms open at night with a bring your own booze policy and some sort of entertainment they would mate more money but as it’s a working farm it might bring the wrong type of audience. All in all we will be coming back the facilities are great the park is good to. The £5 electricity lasted the weekend and we had the radio on for most of the weekend and charging tablets and phones.

My Parents have eaten here for many years, and following their rave reviews I decided to try it. It is truly a delightful cafe decorated beautifully with lovely pictures by talented local artists hanging on the walls. The waitress was very charming (Tia) and although very busy she didn’t make us feel hurried, making time for a chat whilst ordering. The food was indeed excellent, I had the full English and my Latte was very good. Well done for an all around great experience ideal for taking my mum out for breakfast. My biggest surprise considering how out of the way the farm was, is how busy it is, a testament to the lovely food and delightful staff. Thanks Rob

Stayed for one night. Very comfortable room with good amenities. Everything clean and tidy. There were a couple of points to note that would have turned by rating into Excellent. For Room 1 - the shower head is clogged with limescale - so only half the nozzles working which is pretty poor in my view. The bathroom needs someone to go around with a bit of filler or caulk to fill in the gaps. Given the small number of rooms - it still felt a bit impersonal for me - there was no particularly warm welcome and nobody asked me for any feedback on my stay for example. All in all though it does what it says on the tin. Very convenient for Southport, clean and the breakfast was nice too.
