"There's quite a bit to do here, which is great. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-appointed – really comfortable beds too! The front desk staff are helpful, but they could use some additional support during busy check-in times to make the process smoother."

"Overall good experience with this hotel. However was waken up by the noise at 8am in the morning. As the assigned room is on 8 floor, there are men at work on the roof. This has spoilt the morning."

"Recently came back from a 2-day staycation at Crown Towers. It was my first time staying here and I was mostly impressed. Location: not in the city centre, but easily accessed by public transport and car (there are a number of carparks, I used the free one, but it just involved a little more walking). Since it is not in the city, there is not much in walking distance, but there is much to do within the Crown complex which includes numerous restaurants and bars, the ******, and walking along the river was quite pleasant. Room: it had a luxurious feel and was pretty spacious. Since I booked the cheapest room type, I was told at check-in that there would be no view, and that proved to be semi-true, I mean, I had a view of a roof, a carpark, some apartments, and a tiny sliver of the river. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were soft like clouds. The robe was also very soft and quite thick - there was only one included in my room which was fine but I called reception to let them know so they could make a note of it. The room was appointed with all the usual toiletries and coffee/tea with the Nespresso machine being a nice touch. I was pleased that there was a decaf pod, however it was not replenished on the 2nd day and I resorted to the instant decaf. The bathroom was huge with separate compartments for the toilet and shower, there were 2 sinks and the bathtub was big. The room controls were done by a tablet which was handy, except that it mostly didn't work. Luckily there were wall controls for the lights and the curtains. One side of the curtains (drapes) did not work so it had to be pulled across by hand. The tablet also displayed the various restaurants and bars in the complex (as well as up to date menus) and other things that were available (such as the pool, gym, spa etc). You could also order room service from the tablet without needing to call. Room service was a little pricey as you would expect with a $7 delivery charge. A mini bar was also available but this was quite expensive. Housekeeping also seemed to come quite late in the day. Staff: the staff I interacted with were friendly and professional and I didn't have any issues. Check-in/check-out: on checking in, there was a bit of a line and it took nearly half an hour before I was able to get to the front, but once I got there, check-in was quick and efficient. On checking out, there was still a bit of a line but it moved quickly. There was also an option for express checkout. Amenities: There was a pool, gym, spa etc. but I didn't make use of any of these. Other things: I recommend TWR bar as they served some quite nice cocktails in a beautiful setting, food at the Merrywell was tasty, but you need to order food at the counter and then drinks at the bar. I think an option for a QR code ordering system would be beneficial in this scenario. Food at Junction Grill was also tasty, and the ****** was the same as usual, although I hadn't been in there for quite a number of years. The gaming machines produce cash vouchers now (which can be redeemed at machines), which is much more handy (and hygienic) than having to collect dollar coins. Overall, it was a nice stay and I would maybe stay again, however at this price point I was expecting just a little more."

"Arrived at hotel early, receptionist was very kind to let us use the shower room and store our luggage. Hotel got us two bottles of wine on Christmas and NYE which was a bonus for us. On top of these, the room is spacious and sparkling clean."

"Hotel is efficient and great value. I didn’t know full housekeeping is only every 3 days which is fine. They do change towels and empty bins but you need to make your own bed and clean your cups and dishes. Pros- Good location. Cat yellow bus stop just a few mins walk from hotel. Spacious and clean rooms Nespresso machine and capsules are provided Surrounding area is gorgeous and peaceful Cons. Noisy especially on weekends as Hotel is a mixed development where restaurants, cafe and bars are on the ground floor so rooms on the 3rd floor are noisy at night until late. Bathroom floor is always wet. I suspect a leak somewhere in the room. Do not expect any service except one staff handling check in."

"Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was big and spacious which is a plus point. Front desk was friendly and check in went smoothly. However, the breakfast buffet experience was absolutely terrible. There were limited selections of food and the breads tasted substandard. Not to mention the service by the staffs were horrible. Staff only came to table 5minutes before the closing time to mentioned they are closing the buffet, 9.30am which stipulated on the site is 10am. A guest came down at 9.30am wanting to have his breakfast but couldn’t do so because they apparently stated that they are close for the day. If the buffet spread was to be close at 10am, they should not stipulate on the website that it is close at 10am. Additionally, when we arrived at 9.10am, they ought to mention to us that the closing timing was at 9.30am so that we could be prepared for the closing. I personally feel that I was short changed given that I paid $32 for such buffet and if there is an option, I would not have eaten my buffet here."

"Good location in the CBD area. Nice spacious lobby as shown by picture. Had to pay for private parking but it was on-site and convenient. There is a Mexican eatery, IGA grocer and a liquor store at the small shopping area just next to the reception that make it convenient"

"The apartment is close to the red cat bus stop so you could take it to the city. The room has a modern feel, nice and new. They have all the kitchen amenities, washing machine and dryer. The only thing is that there is only 1 toilet for 4-5pax living there. The shower and toilet are separated from each other thus it is quite difficult to go back and forth. In addition, it is not enough for 4 pax. I'm not sure I would stay here again if I am coming with my family."
