"Frokost is moderate, they could not supplement everything sometimes was something simple on! dirty scrambled eggs, made clearly from egg powder, no cooked eggs or baked eggs. Rooms and building smoothly. Heated rooms, fortunately there was a very dust ventilator. The staff were very friendly."

"Close to the Cardiff Bay area and a very short bus to the main city and Cardiff Castle. Breakfast was excellent (but no muesli). Rooms spacious but no fridge (I think that the UK don't do fridges) we did enjoy our stay and would fully recommend staying here. Car park is next door at a multi carpark which is subsidised by the hotel @ 25 - 30%."

"I had a lovely stay here. The room was very clean and a nice size, plenty of space for one or a couple would be fine too. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was the usual basic hotel breakfast but satisfied me just fine. The location is perfect, so close to Cardiff Bay which is where I wanted to be, but tucked away and quiet. There was no noise from anywhere, so a very restful sleep. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area."

"Disastrous first booking with trip.com! Travelled with my Daughter and her friend, arrived only to be told there was only a king size bed, room too small for the 3 of us. On booking, the search engine was defaulted to 2 adults, so this was amended accordingly. Thankfully there was a spare room.to accommodate at an additional cost of £30, oh and parking was £10! Not the budget stay I originally thought it to be. Please be careful.

"This hotel has a great location with the rooms being very neat and tidy, if a touch out of date. Being only a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of town and a 15-20 minute walk to Cardiff Bay is near perfect.
However during my stay, the pool was closed for renovation, one of the lifts was out of service and there appeared to be a large number of long term guests that require security guards on site at night in addition to having to lock in your breakfast time ahead of schedule. "

"The only reasons I gave 4/5 stars for service was the self service hot beverage station and making your own toast. Order their specials better, however, this time my poached eggs were not soft. Excellent wine and excellent bar lunch which they allowed us to eat in the restaurant which was a bonus. I love this location. Walks through the wetlands and to Penarth and easy links to Barry Island. Spa brilliant and the quiet area next to the gym brilliant for reading"

"There’s a receptionist who was very nice, she helped us with our luggage before we checked in and even after we checked out. She’s very friendly and also professional! About the room, it’s good overall with the price. Everything was totally fine to stay there for a short trip!"
