I have booked accommodation in this hotel for four days for my son and me. My son fell ill. The hotel informed me that they could not refund any money, even though I traveled alone. So far, so good, but the reception staff also immediately took away the second pool towel from me since my son was not there. It didn’t matter that I had paid for the second towel. Though this wasn't the worst part, for a hotel of this price category to serve white wine in cardboard boxes is unacceptable. Serving white wine in paper cups to guests who pay a lot of money for a gin and tonic at the bar, and when they want to take it up to their room, they are given it in paper cups with no glasses offered, is simply not acceptable. Moreover, a hotel of this category shouldn't have coffee machines at the breakfast buffet that show actual coffee beans but only serve instant coffee. This hotel follows the concept of maximizing profit with the least effort, and that is very, very disappointing. I am immensely disappointed and certainly will not return.
