Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa

Incredible stay. Rooms were immaculate with a balcony looking out onto the resorts garden. Most mornings we wake up to Roos just below our balcony. You can walk straight out to cable beach or enjoy the resorts pools including the adults only pool which has a poolside bar. The breakfast bar (all you can eat) is amazing value and looks out into the beach. There’s also plenty of restaurants in the resort and even a massage and spa complex if that’s what your looking for. There’s even a basketball court if your looking to shoot some hoops. Staff are amazing and provided us champagne on arrival and even offered lifts to the airport. Was seriously the most luxurious place I’ve ever stayed

I’ve been here half a dozen times and every time it has been excellent. At our most recent stay last week we had a pool side room. While my partner went off to work I swam and read and enjoyed the bar. Must’ve been the time of year because the bugs (mosquitoes and other bitey things) were relentless this time but helpfully the hotel had mosquito spray (and sun screen) scattered around for use. We ate at Cichetti’s the first night and while food wasn’t as perfect as the other 3 or 4 times we’ve been it was still very, very good. I will say that all of the food didn’t seem to have the northern WA markup I’ve become accustomed to and the price was on par with Perth restaurants of a similar standard. We ate at the Sunset Bar and Grill the second night even though we had hoped to try Kichi Kichi, but that was closed on Wednesdays 😢. Needn’t have worried though, because the food at SBG exceeded expectations. Also sampled a few of the middle eastern inspired snacks on the pool bar menu and all were tasty and fresh. My only complaints were that the wifi was a bit iffy throughout my most recent stay and that the Spa was fully booked even though I fancied a massage. The room was lovely but i do like a detachable shower head, which our room didn’t have. Other than that I’m glad to see the quality of the place endures since I’ve been visiting over the last five years or so.

What can I say, but absolutely 5 stars all round. My husband and I enjoyed five luxurious nights at Cable Beach Club Resort. From checkin to checkout was faultless. Extremely friendly and very helpful staff, namely Bree (reception), Vesh and Naomi (Club Lounge) contributed to our awesome and memorable stay. The Club Lounge Experience ($100 per day) is a must to add onto your booking ~ enjoying afternoon canapes (3:30-5pm), signature cocktails, wine, spirits and beer in the sleek Club Lounge along with a scrumptious buffet breakfast each morning at the Sunset Bar and Grill. Highly recommend this option if available. The McAlpine Villa is truly worth the extra money where you will be pampered with extras such as private airport transfers, porter service, welcome champagne, complimentary mini bar (replenished daily), 1.5m deep plunge pool, mini kitchen with cooking facilities incl coffee pod machine, huge airconditioned bathroom with 2 vanities and deep spa bath, 2 living rooms, 3 TVs, massive bedroom with King size bed and WIR. Did I mention that there were 4 aircons in the villa !!! as a girl that loves her a/c's, this was just the bomb ! Book now, you won't regret it ......

we hadn't been to Cable Beach resort in 20 years so we decided it was time to come back. Nothing has changed (including the decor). It's reliable and comfortable. The 2-bedroom Pearler's Bungalow isn't so much of a two bedroom as a cottage with one bedroom in the middle and a few beds thrown around the rest of the space, but it's ok. Service has been excellent, from the restaurants to the housekeeping to the tour desk. Ah, the tour desk. That's why I'm giving 5 stars - they made all the difference, otherwise we could have been somewhere else. Ange has been an angel, helping us choose the best tours every day, and Teresa was very helpful over email before we arrived. Highly recommend you avail yourselves of their expertise.

Based on our experience we would not stay at Cable Beach Club on our next visit to Broome unless there was a radical shake up in the resort. It seemed to be clearly trading on its prior reputation and was not a 5 star resort, based on our travel it equates to what we get in a 3.5 star. There were positives but the negatives far more. Many of the negatives could be easily fixed but there were just so many of them they cumulatively made the experience not live up to expectations. Positives Bags got to room by themself without chasing and were picked up and available for transfers to air port - porter service was excellent Room was good size and if updated would be a real feature Adult pool is very pleasant Grounds are nice Spa was good Negatives (in no particular order and with suggested solutions) L’Occitane products in bathroom which was good but no body wash - provide body wash as well as shampoo conditioner and body milk. Not eco friendly as little bottles of bathroom things - solution put in large refillable bottles in shower & bathroom sink Bottom draw in wardrobe could not open as ran into track for wardrobe - lift draws and put on base frame. Not a lot of storage - put shelving under tv Tv had no cable Chanel’s only free to air but did have good movie selections - provide a standard cable package Only one courtesy bus into town a day and you needed to book several days in advance, when we came to try and book in the morning and was told it was full the solution offered was to the public bus timetable (which does not run after dark in any case) - solution put on a shuttle bus on an hourly or 1/2 hourly timetable to take guests to and from town. At the room rates being charged this should be covered. Did not warn us we needed to book on site nice restaurants (when they are open) well in advance (I think before you arrived) therefore cannot comment on food offerings as we did not really eat on site. When we were turned away from one we were told only option was the pub style sunset grill. Instead we booked off site and had really nice meals at Bali Hai, Papa Fuego and Sausage Johnnys. All these are recommended but you will need cabs. Solution at a minimum let guests know at check in to make reservations or better still increase availability so we could get in. no room service Pools were all pebble Crete - a personal aversion of my wife. No mini bar -provide on No on site bar open after about 9pm - we were turned away as closing when we got back from dinner. Coffee in room was just instant no coffee machine in room - install pod coffee machine. Water in room was single disposable plastic bottle with instruction to refill - spend extra $ and give everyone a branded reusable water bottle which would then give branding in reuse outside resort. No concierge, There was a tour desk but it closed mid afternoon - should operate till mid evening and provide full concierge services. Buildings while clean and well maintained

My wife and I had an absolute magical stay at Cable Beach Club. From the minute we walked in, we were treated like royalty. Room was fantastic and the amenities were top notch. I will definitely come back to Broome soon and be staying here again. 🙏
