We stayed here for two nights during a road trip across Spain. Having never visited the Picos before, we had no idea what it was like . The area was lovely and we enjoyed visiting local places. The hotel itself was fantastic, the owners and staff there went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be. We had breakfast and evening meals there both nights and the food served was lovely and a very high standard. I highly reccomend staying here if you are visiting the Picos de europa.

The hotel was totally ideal for us. The room was very comfy, clean and attended daily. Meals were very sufficient, varied and of delicious local ingredients. Advice of all activities from Jim and Pilar was excellent, founded on their deep mountain knowledge. Hotel was altogether ideal.

Fantastic Food (cooked by son of owner) served in restaurant with lovely view to highest mountain in the Picos, after which the Hotel is named..Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms had everything we needed and there was plenty of parking. We really enjoyed our stay here in beautiful surroundings. We will definitely comeback again

Such a wonderful hotel in the middle of the stunning Picos de Europa mountains. Hotel doesn't feel like the right word because it is small, cozy, and comfortable and felt more like a bed and breakfast. The views were amazing. My room was spacious and updated. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I loved the cows and horses roaming around outside. Great breakfast options every morning and very upscale food for dinner. The staff and owners are so kind and accommodating. I loved the patio on the back to sit with a drink and watch the mountains. Also loved the bar area in the lower level. I would absolutely come back and stay here again!

I have been before. Why have I come back? Because it is great. The owners of this hotel understand the concept of easy comfort. You don't have to have fancy hotels and clinical rooms. You have to provide warmatch of reception and service. Easy relaxing comfort. Great food that you want to get stuck into. Made to feel that you are welcome. Then after that, if the beds are comfortable, the showers working well with a clean bathroom you are onto a winner. We slept well - I only wish we had booked a second night which was part of my plan other than an early departure of the ferry because of the weather. If you want to explore the Picos and the Asturias then this is the place to base up. Trust me here folks - this is simple comfort and relaxation - this coming from a Hotelier!!.

Simply the best food in Spain! We went last Monday night, and the cooking was to perfection. The rooms were very clean, great value for money in a remote setting and the staff were very friendly. We also went back in 2018 which was still fantastic.

A gem of a place, booked after a Facebook recommendation. As a party of bikers riding round the Picos we used the hotel as a base for 4 nights, and I'm sure if they will allow us we'll be back!! 😁🙈🤣

Fantastic location, views, staff and food. Family run, and staff who weren’t actual family were treated like it. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cuisine - this was top notch and on a par / better than some very pretentious restaurants. Amazing terrace views.
