First class wellness hotel in beautiful Ahrntal with very good access to alpine skiing close to Kronplatz, sleigh riding, ski hiking to well known peaks and cross country skiing. Very friendly service. Outstanding kitchen with tasty local food.

This was our second summer holiday stay at the Alpin Royal Hotel in the Ahrntal Valley Near the South Tyrolean Dolomites. We booked a Heavenly Suite and so it was, spacious with balcony and mountain view. The indoor pool and the spa area was first class, so was the food at breakfast and sumptuous dinner every night - we stayed 7 nights.

We as a frequent joint holiday trip group of 8 persons selected Alpin Royal for our June 2022 trip, as this 4 star superior hotel's offer appeared to be a good bet for value for money at very attractive price, based on comparison of descriptions we could find at several hotel websites. And what a great selection it turned out to be and how happy we were with our selection of the hotel! Friendly and very helpful staff, good quality food, spacious room with good quality room facilities, good wellness facilities and above all, the rare combination of all these at a very reasonable price. Together with the bonus of the highly attractive and enjoyable mountainous nature of the Ahrnthal. We had a thoroughly pleasant time at Alpin Royal. We really hope we will find another occasion to come back!

We had booked a week at the Alpin Royal through a tour operator. We left early after 3 days because the hotel did not meet the standard of a 4* Superior. Reasons are: - The room is a tube, very dark with a shabby interior from the 90s - The hotel is either on one side directly on a country road or on the other side on a mountain side (without even a hint of sky to be seen) - The entire interior exudes the charm of the 90s and seems shabby The only bright spot was a competent employee at the reception.

I spent this year's vacation with my wife in the romantic Ahrntal in South Tyrol, the home of my late mother. The particularly warm welcome after our arrival at the hotel immediately gave us the feeling of real hospitality. So the Alpin Royal immediately became our home during our vacation in the Ahrntal. We particularly praise the attractive rooms in this hotel, with a very spacious bathroom. The breakfast buffet and evening menu are first class and the weekly gala meal is “first class”. The beautiful bathrooms in the wellness area also invite you to linger longer with various saunas. The diverse massage and body care treatments are particularly recommended. Gemütliches Hotel mit kleinem aber feinem Wellnessbereich. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, gute Küche, freundliches mehrsprachiges Servicepersonal. Auch als Familienhotel zu empfehlen. Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
