Second stay at this wonderful B&B, stopping in The Ballroom. Beautiful surroundings, lovely house, really comfortable bed, great breakfast and pleasant hosts. One of the nicest places stayed, will be returning again! Highly recommend.

An absolutely beautiful place. They really have thought of everything. It’s amazing and a delicious breakfast. Set in glorious countryside where you can go for a hike or a gentle walk. Very peaceful with a comfy bed so an undisturbed sleep. Spotlessly clean.

Wow - what a find! From the moment we set foot in the door we were made to feel so welcome by Beth and Andrew - nothing was too much trouble. We were lucky enough to be upgraded - and the room certainly didn't disappoint. The room was spotless throughout - and clearly a lot of thought had been given to the interior design of the whole building. Breakfast was delicious! Our only regret was that two nights was not nearly enough to appreciate the place and it's location. Thank you.

Gorgeous B & B with lovely hosts. Beautiful setting with spectacular views from my room. I loved the charming & artful furnishings & decor, particularly the stacks of huge books serving as bedside tables, as well as the cinema seats for watching TV if the 4-poster bed was too relaxing. Excellent vegetarian breakfast.

We had a fantastic stay. Our hosts were wonderful. We were greeted at the door, shown around and had a welcome coffee and cake. The room was amazing with stunning views at the front of the house. Breakfast was amazing and the service was just as good. Very helpful information in the room about things to do in the area.

Always a delight to stay here, and we can say that after coming here for 8 or so years ! Situated near the peaceful village of Rowen, with great views . If there was one negative it would be that the Pub in the village seems to open sometimes only for drinks, not food - this means that your nearest eatery is the Groes inn, and involves a drive. Public transport from the village is almost none existent, leaving at 8 ish and 11.30 ish in the morning - the notice at the bus stop gives different and wrong times - best look up the bus times on the internet !!

Our second visit to Coed Mawr we loved it so much! A fantastic house in a beautiful location with stunning views from the front. Andrew and Beth are so welcoming and have provided everything you need. The room we stayed in was comfortable and spacious and we like the classroom theme which takes us back to the 70s! There is also a huge bath which is a luxury after a days’ walking. The breakfasts are wonderful and there is a lounge with comfy sofas where you can relax with a drink from the fridge at the end of the day.

The B&B is located in a stunning area. The view from the rooms, which are very comfortable, is fantastic. We enjoyed the warm welcome and friendly service that was provided. There is a great little pub on walking distance, which we really enjoyed (especially recommendable when you prefer to have drink and don't want to drive). The B&B is on a short distance to most attractions on the coast, Snowdonia and Anglesey. Breakfast is freshly prepared and delicious. We really felt at home in this B&B and will definitely return. Thank you Beth and Andrew for giving us such a great experience.
