"Extremely clean room. We loved the contemporary design. Everything looked really new when we were there. We stayed in the small room... some might find it a little tight.. but it was okay for us. Really nice breakfast spread. Only downer is that there was a little musty or damp smell in our room. Just a little whenever we entered. Other than that it was great."

"The location is very good. Less than 5 minutes walk from Gaisano Mall. Easy to check in. Room is okay that is enough for 2-3 days sleep. Price is good. They have towel,soap and shampoo. Also have TV and fridge. You can ask for a hairdryer if you want. They have water dispenser on the hallways which is very good! It would be nice if they have cups for coffee."

"You need to call the owner of that unit and ask the room number and parking lot number incase you bring a Car before coming in because trip does not mention/include what room number you were staying and it’s beyond my expectations. when we arrived it’s almost 11pm due to delayed flights and the Guard doesn’t let us in because we don’t have the room number and owners name of the unit,I wasn’t expecting that because I thought there were front desk that accommodate us when we arrived there and only show our booking information and that’s all,but it’s totally different. And so, that’s the time we call the owner of the unit letting them know we are there lol but considering the time we checked in I think she’s nice and considerate, and again I thought it’s free parking because that’s what trip says haha but it’s not,because the owner ask charges for parking fees and so we paying it again, but what I like about this place is that they have kitchen utilities, so it’s really great if you plan of buying and cooking food for yourself/families upon staying there for couple of days and to add up,there are also extra beds and blankets too,and over all it’s a nice place."

GGaryaHotel Sogo is well located within ten minutes walk to the malls. It's a slightly different concept to what I've experienced in a hotel before. First I wasn't issued a key, instead the security man walks you to your place out the back.
When I say out the back, it's a good thing as it places the check-in building between your room and what is a very very busy road, so noise isn't an issue at all. It's a really large room directly above your own garage if you have a car, which I didn't.
While I think from the decor it may well be used as a short time hotel at times, I didn't mind and actually extended my stay a few days longer.
Towels and soap provided, a good firm comfortable bed with decent linen and pillows. What I liked was having room service, so you could order breakfast (including a thermos of hot water if you needl) and it would be delivered to your door in 20 minutes or so. Feel free to just order the basics if that's all you need, like rice, boiled egg and sugar. These all came well wrapped in cling wrap on a tray.
There was only at best lukewarm water in the shower and when I asked they said it was undergoing maintenance. But anyway, overall a very convenient, clean and restful budget choice in cdo, only do be careful walking alongside the heavy traffic on the road outside. (By the way there's a laundry outside, turn to the right and cross the road 100m walk)

The hot water temperature in the bath is better. It may be personal preference because it is late and there is nothing around A place to eat, but there is a small supermarket downstairs that can still buy some food, which is generally better than the previous one.

CCaye LaoThe location is very convenient as it is located beside SM and other major malls. The rooms are clean but some must already be repaired. We had to change rooms twice because AC was not cold and because door was too hard to open. But, the front desk were kind and immediately accommodated our concerns. A good restaurant is located on the ground floor. Make sure to drop by!

GGuest UserThe hotel and the staff were wonderful. The staff saw to your ever need, they constantly greeted you with a smile and a kins word.
The breakfast service was the most disappointing aspect of the hotel. The meal choices were so odd. We stayed for two 3 day stints (a total of six days), the breakfast was some sort of soup, either a sunny side up egg or a hard boiled egg; steamed rice; then what seemed like leftovers from dinner the night before - one morning it was chop suey (vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower; and carrots); another morning it was sardines, fish on cabbage; the only item that i would consider a breakfast food was their beef chorizo (but the beef chorizo was not tasty or seemingly fully cooked). I was surprised that there were no Filipino breakfast staples - tocino, longanisa, or even spam.
I would say the breakfast menu needs to be reviewed.

CClenton AllisonStaff was great they arrange wash my clothes for 200 fpf and repair hole in my pants. Toilet had toilet seat I wash my body on that seat. They have cold to hot water shower wand with 4 settings for temp.
Room small but great for the price. Aircon was cold if you wanted that. TV and power switch. The street noise is loud but I sleeped ok. No elevator just stairs. Del Monte pineapple factory across the street but was quiet to me.
Jollibee is 10 fpf jeepee and Chow King is before Jollibee under overpass that street to mall. About hour and half drive time by taxi. But you can take busses to Davon and other places

SSEN HAWThis hotel is in a strategic location in the city. You can get a cab or a jeepney outside the hotel. It’s beside a hospital, a gas station and a Jollibee. It’s in front of a stadium too.

AAlexCraigService was just normal. Conveniently located with shops and bars around the area. Room service available with restaurant and rooftop bar at hotel. Lot of restaurant in the area too. Easy access to shopping malls by transport or walk for 8 to 10 minutes.
