Palazzo Dessy Historic House

Our room was beautiful — spotlessly clean with really interesting décor. The painted woodwork on the ceilings was a lovely touch. The balcony was amazing and we loved the views across the rooftops. Having a fridge with a small freezer was super handy, and the small safe for passports and valuables was appreciated. On the downside, the “toiletries included” were disappointing — just two tiny pots of combined hair and body wash, no separate shampoo or conditioner as you’d expect in higher-rated places. The breakfast also wasn’t worth paying extra for: very limited selection (no cheeses, meats, or salads) and we were only offered one small yoghurt each. Overall though, it’s definitely worth a stay. It’s more like a set of serviced apartments than a hotel, but our suite was beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit.

This place is great! It’s in the center of town, and you can walk everywhere. The staff are so friendly. There’s free continental breakfast everyday. They make eggs and coffee per request. The room is very spacious and the bed is comfy. Would definitely recommend.

We are a couple from Canada and we love to travel! This place is fantastic for a couple reasons. It’s a historical building that is very well renovated, combining modern amenities and classic look. Walking distance to marina, shopping and historic part of the city. You literally walk out from the building and walk in to the restaurants area! Very quiet place if you’re looking to rest. Room was very clean, air conditioned and lit. It has a small safe for your documents, money and jewelry. The size is perfect for two guests, with a living room and a bedroom. Shower with toilet and bidet, which is very convenient. We definitely recommend this place and will book again when visiting Cagliari!

This place was SO adorable and comfortable and was located in such a convenient and cute part of town, near tons of shops and restaurants. The hostess was incredibly helpful, she even loaned up beach towels when we drove to a nearby beach for a day trip, which was SO sweet! The included breakfast and coffee were awesome - the beds were SO comfortable - we just had a fantastic time and we highly recommend Palazzo Dessy!

Perfect location in the heart of Cagliari, close to everything in the city. Authentic design, clean and very nice breakfast. It is a small boutique hotel, where you can feel treated well. The host was great giving us good recommendations of restaurants and things to see.

A lovely little mezzanine apartment with two spacious bathrooms and a king sized bed. This is a much better alternative to a hotel room, with so much space to lounge around in when taking a break from the heat outside. With two air-conditioning units in the room it was lovely and cool all night.
