Ein wunderschönes, kleines Hotel mitten im Regenwald (man hört und sieht Brüllaffen, Vögel und vieles mehr), und nur win paar Schritte von einen traumhaften Strand entfernt. Zum nächsten Dorf mit ein paar Restaurants kann man am naturbelassenen Strand entlang laufen. Traumhaft!
Das Zimmer bzw Bungalow war sehr sauber und sehr gut eingerichtet und das Team um Sebastian und Javier sind sehr zuvorkommend.
Jederzeit wieder!

Kañik and Sebastian are incredible! A paradise surrounded by nature, very clean and a lot of attention to detail is given by staff. We did not have a car and Sebastian took us one day to the Jaguar centre and called for us to arrange a shuttle. Every day the room and pool and outside is being cleaned thoroughly. The breakfast is amazing, especially sandwich coquette and carribean, fancy. It is easy to move around without a car, bus stop to Puerto Viejo and Cahuita right outside. Shorter rides we used Uber and we walked a lot on the beach both directions, very scenic and quiet. We had the pleasure also to meet Diego, Sebastian’s brother. You can tell they care about your experience and that you are comfortable. Our best memory of Costa Rica, thank you!

My friends and I went to celebrate my birthday and share special moments together, I’m so happy it was in Kañik. The facilities are new and in perfect condition, the beds are comfortable, the pillows are amazing. All rooms have great air-conditioning, a speaker, and a we’ll equip kitchen. Given that we were a big group, Sebastian (the host) accommodated our breakfast near the pool for us to eat together, although the norm is to have personalized service in each room’s private terrace. Did I mentioned that the food was amazing? Also, the hotel has a lounge area in the beach, which is only 200 meters walking from the hotel. I’ve stayed in other hotels in the area before, but by far this has been the best hotel and experience ever. I will continue to stay here in the future when visiting Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast.

Situated down a track just off the main highway, these lovely boutique lodges (opened late 2023) have everything you need. A well equipped kitchen area, fridge, air-con and cotton sheets, I was very happy. Sebastian, our onsite host, was delightful, so friendly and helpful. There a a couple of nearby restaurants for the evening or you can self-cater. The "Caribbean toast" breakfast, served on our private patio area, was delicious. It was so peaceful there. With a warm pool and loungers in a stylish gated garden, you can relax with the sound of nature all around you and see plenty of wildlife without moving! We saw frogs, lizards, butterflies, howler monkeys, toucans and other birds. There is a dedicated area on the beautiful beach, with wooden loungers and chairs in the shade of the trees (5 mins walk through a jungle path). The waves were too rough to swim when we were there, but standing in the warm sea was refreshing. We loved this place and wish we could have stayed a couple more days.

I love it here. To start with, the place is just beautiful! The amenities make the stay very comfortable. I enjoyed a refreshing swim in the pool yesterday after a short walk to the ocean. The service here is like nothing I have ever experienced.Sebastian is here to answer all questions and help arrange tours, taxi rides and even food delivery if you decide to have a lazy evening in.

Thank you Sebastian for the free upgrade to the deluxe suite!!! This hotel is beautiful, clean, relaxing, close to secluded beach and if you have a car. Then also close to puerto viejo! Breakfast was also soooo good!!

The facilities are new and in perfect condition. Attention to customers is however the real plus. The design of the place (especially the slitting areas outside each cabin) contributes to an overall feeling of being just at the right place...

In diesem wunderbaren Hotel begannen wir unsere Urlaub und es war Urlaub von Anfang an. Die geschmackvoll und gleichzeitig zweckmäßig eingerichteten Ferienhäuschen haben alles, was man braucht. Auf der kleinen Terrasse direkt vor dem Haus kann man jeden Tag in aller Ruhe ein wunderbares Frühstück genießen und dabei den gepflegten Garten und all das Grün bewundern und danach in den Pool springen. Der Besitzer ist super freundlich, immer ansprechbar und erfüllte unsere Wünsche sehr gern. Zum wunderschönen Strand läuft man nur 400m über einen urigen Weg. Am Strand selbst empfielht sich ein Spaziergang nach Manzanillo in die eine Richtung und bis nach Punta Uva in die andere Richtung.

Lindísimo lugar, las habitaciones super equipadas, la cama y las almohadas muy cómodas para dormir y muy buena presión en la ducha. Además las suites tienen una tina increíble y todas las habitaciones tienen un balconcito super cómodo para sentarse un rato a conversar. La playa está muy cerca y el hotel tiene paños y tumbonas en la playa bajo la sombra que podés usar. Los desayunos estuvieron deliciosos, me encantaron las tostadas con plátano maduro. Y lo que más destaco es la atención de Sebastián, de verdad que hizo de nuestra estadía una experiencia super bonita.
