Cairo Hotels with Gym

If we consider Egyptian standards, this hotel in Cairo is probably one of the best. If we refer to the European standards of 5-star Kempinski hotels, there would be a lot to correct. From the fact that the staff should respects privacy (they just walk into the room, while I were naked going to shower and then leave, without apologizing and laughing loudly), to the fact that there is a glass screen in the shower (same in 3 different rooms) leaking water, floods the bathroom or, say, the security service harassing you at 2 in the morning because of a ”suspicious” item in the suitcase, although the same thing was in the suitcase of the previous two arrivals and no one paid attention (it was a steam iron). In general, the staff is forced to be polite and they are very slow. Just a very kind restaurant receptionist and one nice waiter in Osman restaurant. I believe that this is the maximum that Kempinski manages to achieve in terms of its own standards considering the mentality of Egypt.

The military runs this hotel. It is alcohol-free. People were smoking everywhere, which may or may not bother others. The breakfast and dining services were good. The room was clean but a little dated. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The staff was helpful and always willing to answer questions and offer assistance. The reception desk is not manned 24 hours a day. I was disconnected/hung up on 3 times when trying to confirm that someone would be able to check us in when I arrived after midnight. I was told it would be fine but we had to wait for someone to check us in. The pool was great and we have no complaints. We had arranged a driver to take us on our tours so I am not sure if the location is good or not. Great hotel and would recommend it.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The location, environment, facilities and services are excellent. The scenery in the panoramic room with river view is great.

The hotel is a great place to recuperate and layover before flying out from Cairo International Airport. It’s easy to get to from terminal 3 via the link bridge. The staff are friendly especially Aziz who was exceptionally and helpful. We did a day trip before our flight in the AMs. The only problem is ordering an uber and getting it to come to the hotel lobby. I don’t know why but several drivers cancelled because the location picks up the arrival terminal instead of the hotel. The hotel has shuttles though that go to the city. Breakfast was also good and the staff was amazing. Peaceful atmosphere away from the airport lounges and chaos at the airport.

If you need a hotel close to the airport, this is a great one. With a free shuttle that leaves every 30 mins on the hour, it’s just great. The room are decently clean. The hallway is a little sketchy but the room was fine. Bed clean with fresh sheets. Great quick stay close to airport.

The overall rating of this hotel is good. It's just that the previous tenant in the room we originally booked was smoking, so we asked to change rooms and were changed to a smaller room. This was not a good experience for me. The hotel is very special. Cars need to be checked when entering, and every piece of luggage also needs to be checked. It is very strict. The other waiters, housekeepers, and counter staff are all friendly and enthusiastic, but we all give tips to show our appreciation. The amount we give is about 5 pounds to 20 pounds. The breakfast part is not bad, but it is not very special. Overall it is clean. The environment of the hotel room is clean, but the hot water sometimes goes hot and cold. There is a strange phenomenon in our room. It is very cold both during the day and at night. The hotel does not have a heating function.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cairo Marriott Hotel during my visit to this magnificent city, and I must say that it was an experience of unparalleled elegance and timeless luxury. From the moment I entered the grand lobby, I was transported to a world of opulence and sophistication, and every aspect of my stay surpassed my expectations. The Cairo Marriott Hotel is a true gem that seamlessly blends historic charm with modern amenities. Housed in a stunning palace dating back to the 19th century, the hotel exudes a sense of grandeur and majesty. The meticulously preserved architectural details, from the soaring ceilings to the intricate woodwork, added a sense of romance and authenticity to the entire experience. My room at the Cairo Marriott Hotel was a haven of comfort and refinement. The spacious layout, plush furnishings, and tasteful decor created an atmosphere of tranquility and indulgence. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room was equipped with all the amenities one would be expect from a luxury hotel, including a well-appointed bathroom and a stunning view of the surrounding gardens or the Nile River.

Again, Sofitel proved to be the best hotel in Cairo with its luxurious amenities and breathtaking view of the Nile. The food at Kebabgy is delicious (best restaurant on the premise), so don’t miss going there during your stay.

I felt safe when I entered the hotel in Cairo. You can walk to the museum, but of course it takes courage to cross the road. The bar on the first floor of the hotel is very good, with music every night. After a day of fun, you can order some drinks to relax. The Thai restaurant tastes very good. We were a small group and ordered three dishes, all of which were quite good. The slightly inconvenient thing was that the shower head was not stable, but I thought it was acceptable because I only stayed for two nights. It seems that every room has a balcony, and ours has a view of the city and the Nile River.

The hotel and staff were phenomenal. The reason I took one smile away for facility, was I wanted to get a pedicure and they gave a referral in the mall that was terrible. They should not refer anyone there; it was uncomfortably juvenile in the environment. I ended up leaving after waiting 30 minutes listening to workers talk, argue, show pictures on each other's phones. Other than that, it was an incredible experience. Khaled Abdelkhalek with the concierge was outstanding. He was taking care of every need. I booked 2 tours thru 4 Seasons with Marwa, she is on an entirely different universe, so intelligent, kind, intuitive, and I could keep going with praise. If you ever need a tour, she is the one for you!! I also had Mohammed as the driver, between Marwa and Mohommed, they are the dynamic duo. I feel so fortunate and honored to have met and been able to spend time with them. I had several hours to wait for my flight, so I sat in the lobby and had something to eat and drink, they were so accommodating. I do not recall if her name was Daliah or Liza but she was great. Took care of me and was very kind. I travel a lot alone, and it can be tricky sometimes, but the people at the 4 Seasons made it seamless and like home!
