The hotel was friendly and nice throughout my stay! There was no elevator, so it was inconvenient to carry luggage, but other than that, everything was fine! Breakfast was delicious, the pool was right in front, and the room was spacious.

The traffic is really inconvenient. I asked the hotel to take a taxi to Calo de Moro. I waited for two hours for the bus, but it is the peak tourist season. I can respect it but I don’t understand it:-P Generally speaking, it’s pretty good. I walk about ten minutes from the north to the south. bay. The hotel's buffet is really delicious, I am so angry! Apart from the need to make an appointment for a car in advance, it is best to charter a car, there are no other disadvantages.

A lovely situated hotel with a few good things about it, as there should be, and a few poor things which need to be improved. Reception was ok, not brilliant but acceptable. On our arrival we were booked in ok, not efficiently, but as I say ok. We were sent on our way to our 1 bedroom suite with sea view room . There was just a view of a wall when sitting on the balcony at eye level. Most of the rooms in the hotel had a lovely view with rails on the balcony out to see, lovely uninterupted views..........sadly ours had a solid concrete wall higher than eye view whilst seated on the chairs. ( see photos attached below ). Unacceptable. You go to sit on your balcony when you have paid for a sea view to be able to see the sea, not a white washed wall. We think we have been duped totally. Terrible. We went immediately back to reception to inform them of our disdain. The response was , " We are full and may have a room as you have paid for available tomorrow. I will ask the manager about this and get back to you ".....there was no other communication on the matter. Unacceptable. Anyway, we knew this would be the case and just got on with our unpacking and holiday. So, the room/suite was ok, spacious and ample drawer space and a couple of wardrobes, good bathroom and large lounge which was ok, not very well designed but no comfy chair. A small desk chair and a poor lounge settee which was actually in need of a clean. Not brilliant. It needs to be said that the cleaners done a good job, but we had to ask both times the loo roll was almost gone, to have it replaced when we seen the cleaners outside in the complex. Poor that they did not replenish when required. One of the most important things that needs to be mentioned is that the hotel has no lifts. I could not see any information on this whilst booking with the tour operator. Terrible. Be aware there are a few flights of stairs to navigate on the floors above ground level. All inclusive was the package we chose. Some great drinks on offer some terrible. Draught San Miguel, you cannot get much better, Pina coladas disgusting and almost undrinkable......white wine ok......sparkly wine ok ( but never cold enough and we had to ask for ice every time )....so a mixed bag there...but a great method is that you get a token for 1 euro ( refundable after your stay ) to retain a plastic glass throughout your stay here. All you do is give it to the bar staff when you order your drink, they take it off you and give you your drink. You always return the plastic glass to the bar saving on any mess or waste plastic then re order you next drink. A great idea and one that every hotel should consider. The only bad thing, which is actually really frustrating is that when you have finished your last drink, you have to wait behind everyone else in front of you to ask for your tokens back when all you want to do when you have finished your last drink is leave......so , if there are 5 people in front of you and you need to

Visited an Alua hotel in Minorca 2 years ago so knew the chain was good. Stunning location, rooms very spacious, we got lucky getting 2 sea view rooms overlooking adults pool in A block, views fabulous. Unlike some reviews, couldn't fault the food and drinks (red wine ) or the air con in the rooms. Yes it's the older "in the wall" type as opposed to units attached to the wall but still did the job required. Housekeeping spot on, and reception staff all friendly and helpful. Learning the basic holiday phrases helps build a rapport with staff, which in my experience results in good service. A little effort goes a long way. Do have to agree with comments that water in bathrooms is a bit salty, but you wash in it not drink it so no dramas, however the water dispensers in lobby and pool bars did have a strange taste, but spar shop was only 3 mins walk away. Cala egos commercial area a further 3 mins, and cala egos beach another 10 minutes. Closest beach, es Pou a 5 minute walk, and marina another 15 beyond this. Unfortunately an electrical problem meant no water or air con for around 5 hours one evening but thankfully this was sorted by 11pm but this wouldn't stop me recommending the hotel

I stayed here with my husband and 17 year old son and we have stayed all inclusive, we have had an excellent experience. The staff are all friendly, the entertainments team work very hard and do a fantastic job. The poolside is kept immaculate and this is mainly down to the cups policy. When you arrive you give a deposit of 1 euro, for which you are given a token, at the bar you exchanged the token for a cup. Every time you got a drink you took your cup back were given a fresh cup for you next drink. At the end of the day you could exchange your cups for tokens (on an evening you don't need them, you are given glasses). There are 3 pools, we never had a single issue with getting sun beds. Plenty of activities through out the day around the main pool, games to join in and even cocktail demonstrations which I really enjoyed. The main pool also has spectacular views over the ocean, it's particularly lovely to wake up to catch the sunrise on the rocks. The main bar and entertainments area are adjacent to this pool too. The adult pool is very quiet, personally we found this pool a little too quiet, but I can see how it's perfect for those who enjoy reading on a sun lounger etc, without distractions. The third pool is across the road from the main part of the hotel. Again it has a bar but it doesn't serve spirits. The suites are excellent, small kitchenette, and dining table, sofa that pulls out to a comfortable double bed. Plenty of storage and wardrobe space for clothes, although there wasn't that many hangers. The bathrooms are small but clean, although there was no shelf for shampoo and body wash etc in the shower and that didn't seem well thought out. The main bedroom consisted of 2 single beds pushed together. The downsides of this hotel (I must say none of these are enough to stop me coming here again) 1. The beds were too soft and towards the end of the two days this did cause me quite a lot of pain. They sank in the middle and didn't have any real support. 2. The Food is very good for those who eat meat, but I'm vegetarian and my options were incredibly hit and miss. 3. Our bedding wasn't changed during our 10 day stay. We had to ask eventually. 4. The cleaners came at very random times of day, on one occasion they turned up at 6pm, just as we were coming back from the pool and wanting to jump in the shower and relax before dinner. Another time they turned up at 9am as we were trying to get ready to go to the pool. 5. We have stayed in Cala D'or before and I prefer to be the opposite side of the marina, closer to the main bars and shops. Over all though I can't really fault this holiday, and can only say a massive thank you to the whole Alua Suites Las Rocas team, who have massively contributed to a really wonderful holiday!

Terrible experience. Don’t believe the pictures. We booked a double room and the room resembled nothing like the pictures. Towels were stained with what looked like blood. Neither one of the sinks drained. The shower door was broken. The air conditioner barely worked. One love seat in the living room for 4 people! Would have been fine for half the money. There are soooo many other properties that are much nicer for the price. Probably even cheaper. 1/10.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights on 11th August. The staff were really friendly, there were always people around cleaning and looking after the grounds. We were in C212 with a lovely view overlooking the sea. We had a one bedroom suite and was really spacious. I saw some reviews about not being able to top up water bottle in the restaurant but you could in the reception and the pool bar so not sure what the issue was there. I also saw reviews about having to pay a deposit for plastic cups for around the pool. Again, we didn’t find this an issue, the staff would change the cups for you after being used that day and so long as you hand them back at the end of the stay you get your €1 per cup back. The hotel is located about a 10 mins walk to a small resort called Cala Egos or a 20 min walk to the gorgeous marina with plenty of restaurants and bars. One thing I would say is that the hotel only has main restaurant for all meals and we ended up eating out for dinner most nights even though we were all inclusive but that was just our preference. There is a snack bar as well but not many people used it from what I could see as it’s not located at the pool. The area the hotel is located in is lovely, really well looked after.
