We had a room with a pool view on the third floor. Worth paying for one of those. Pool area is great for kids. Plenty of sunbeds and a life guard on duty. Hotel was beginning to enforce not reserving sunbeds with towels - which is a good thing! Pool side bar for lunch/ drinks/ ice creams. Room was a good size and plenty of towels/ hot water. I would advise bringing mosquitoe spray for the area. Fabulous buffet breakfast available at nearby sister hotel a short walk away. We much preferred staying here and accessing facilities as necessary. Pool so much bigger at this hotel. Close to beach coves and nearby restaurants good. Can walk to centre. Spar supermarkets for essentials close by.

The pool facilities and bar were really good but the hotel room was dirty! The kitchen was tired and not pleasant to the eye at all. Both bathrooms in our room were filthy! Around both baths was dirt marks that could have been easily cleaned when we arrived. It made us not look forward to returning to our room.

Great affordable hotel, nice location near Cala Ferrara and Cala Esmeralda. What we experience as annoying is that nothing is done about putting down the towels by the pool at 7 o'clock or earlier in the morning so that there are actually no more beds available around 9. However, what is most annoying is the rooster that already starts crowing at night and has to keep half the hotel (and that of the nearby Ferrara Pins) awake.

This was our second trip to this hotel - we love it! This time we invited friends out with us, and showed them all Cala D’Or had to offer. It’s an especially great hotel to stay with kids, due to the proximity of the “fun park”, and the kids club / football. Safe, friendly, and although the pools are cold - they’re always clean and beautiful - as was the whole place. Our rooms were cleaned daily. Only slight negative was the building works nearby (at the beach area), but that will be finished soon I’m sure. The location is superb - set back from the street with shops and restaurants, with a 10-15min walk to the main centre, maybe 20mins to the harbour.

Excellent A relatively low cost get away so was perhaps expecting the usual somewhat tired and worn out facilities. However, this place, while clearly not new was excellent! Honestly, nothing cracked or broken. Everything was clean and tidy, looking like it's regularly painted and maintained. Good location. Nothing too fancy, but as I wasn't expecting 5 star. Definitely I'd recommend this hotel

I think this is the cleanest resort I have been to. Not a piece of litter including the surrounding area. It was just 10 mins to the beach & a soft play area & small fair for toddlers. A supermarket was also just across the road which was so handy with fresh bread & pastries daily. I will go back.

Great value for money clean friendly resort with great facilities and family feel ... I go during the German holidays so we are probably one of the few English there at that time of year and it's no problem I'd go as far as to say they conduct themselves better

We had 11 nights here. Good points - good equipment in room, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, hair dryer, free air con (only down to 20C, but that's fine). Lots of storage. Great position for local amenities. Not so good. Our room 341, overlooked a road and residential area. Hence it was noisy first thing, but most annoying was the damn dogs - bark, bark, bark. I was really at the point of buying something 'special' for them to eat!! Don't the owners realise that leaving them barking all hours is so anti social? Anyway, all hotels have good and bad rooms. The rooms on this wing are very dark and get no sun. However, the ones overlooking the pool get LOADS of sun! Inside the rooms, it's really dull and dark. They need additional lighting. They also need to order at LEAST thirty of those little tables that go between sunbeds - we saw about five 😏 Didn't eat here, as self catering. Staff friendly and helpful. If you hire a car, they have a secure car park. We found Cala D'Or very, very overcrowded, even though we went towards the end of the season. All the beaches are tiny, and with so much development, are overwhelmed by people every day.

Last minute booking, the room was good, staff friendly and helpful, short walk to nice beaches and so many good restaurants close by. Really good good bus service to go further afield, we went to the beaches at mon drago park I will definitely go back in future.
