I checked in on 17th October 2024,was greeted by a nice friendly receptionist,very welcoming,with a nice cold bottle of water and a cold wet refreshing flannel as did all guests due to heat,went up to my room absolute stunning,celing fan and also aircon, safe in room,lovely bathroom,power shower,music through the speakers in bathroom,which U can turn up or down or off with a flick of a switch,nice soundproof room,and balcony over looking the harbour so nice to wake up to,room is cleaned every day to,the restaurant wow so nice with large choice at breakfast 8am to 11am and dinner 6.30pm to 9pm,lovely food beautiful hot and cold selection and a chef at hotplate,the waiting staff outstanding,so nice welcoming,the service outstanding. There is a massive swimming pool to warm and just bliss plus massive whirlpool a nice relaxing time,lots of seating round pool area,and waiting staff taking orders for drinks or food.There is evening entertainment to in hotel such fantastic time,overall I will give a 100% happy time I had so would love to come back again top hotel in Menorca,with harbour and bars restaurants and supermarkets and more.I would so recommend this hotel and its an adults only hotel as well,happy times and memories

This place is beautiful and special. Our second year running and wouldn’t go to any other hotel or resort on the island. The staff make the whole experience amazing. A special mention to the reception staff especially Paola for all her help with my request, also Dani who we always enjoy talking about Breaking Bad and everyone, so welcoming and friendly. The poolside staff are just outstanding, Xavi, Ivan and Martha are amazing and it was nice to practice my Spanish each day with them all. The poolside/pool entertainment is brilliant such as volleyball, aqua aerobics and tai chi and the addition of music entertainment has been much welcomed and you can clearly see many of the guests tapping their feet to the sounds including when the aerobics and alike are on. The downside is that due to complaints these activities were stopped due to one killjoy complaining which put a dampener on everyone’s day due to a pathetic complaint, unfortunately there’s always one who think they have a given right to moan because their holiday is being spoilt by everybody enjoying themselves. The only other downside is the restriction access in favour of the all inclusive guests but it didn’t affect us. All in all an amazing place and look forward to our return

This was our second visit to this hotel and as like the first visit as soon as you arrive you are met from the very helpful and cheerful receptionists,again the rooms are immaculate and kept clean and tidy every day by the dedicated and very polite cleaners ,we were half board and agree with other reviews that ( we didn’t) but you could feel a bit degraded by the premium patrons who had reserved seating areas in certain areas and the beds around pool all which very often weren’t used so this didn’t seem fair on other paying visitors .but all in all the hotel was run to perfection all the staff were polite and so helpful whatever asked of them was done and more absolutely excellent needless to say we will be back next year without doubt as this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in thanking all at Valentin very much keep excellent work going⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😄

A lovely friendly, clean hotel with great helpful staff all around. We stayed here from the 11th May 2025 for 8 nights. The room was cleaned each day, with tea, coffee and biscuits replenished. The bed was the comfiest I've slept in, with the best pillows. Usually I'm not the best at sleeping, but that's the best sleep I had for a long time. The restaurant was lovely with good quality food. The bar was nice too, with top entertainment. The bar staff work hard always with a smile. We had such a good time, we have booked again for next year. For next year we have booked a room with a pool view, the reason for this I wasn't particularly keen on the terrace we had on the roadside. Really looking forward to returning. I definitely highly recommend.

From Isobel & Jackie We have just recently returned from our 8th visit the Valentin Star Hotel. We would just like to say thank you to all the wonderful staff especially Carmen at Reception for all of the help that she gave us, she is truly an asset to the Hotel, Dani who is always cheery and friendly and Vincente the Restaurant Manager who is so attentive and keeps everything running smoothly along with all of his great staff. We went to see the fantastic Il Duetto on the last night of our holiday with the only disappointment being they were in the large function room which was extremely hot and would have been better had they been on the Terrace on such a warm Summer evening. Hopefully they will be back next year on our 9th visit to a superb Hotel. Isobel & Jackie

Here at present. So far only complaint is room has an unpleasant smell when you enter could be old smoke, or just the fact the rooms are quite old and in need of modernising. Weve also been given a room clearly meant for wheelchair access , which we dont need. Not bad enough to request change but just wondered if anyone else noticed this in their rooms. Update review at end of stay

Have just returned from the Valentin Star and I’m not sure if I should write a review about this diamond of a hotel as I want to keep it a secret, it is a two story hotel in a prime position right on the marina, build around a lovely lagoon style pool, the public rooms are kept to a very high standard, the restaurant’s, bars and entertainment venue all very smart. But mostly what makes this hotel are the staff the whole lot of them, absolutely top of the shop, they all know how to give people are great holiday. I have to give mention Lydia the entertainments coordinator, she makes it such fun around the pool, not pushy, but if you like participating in activities she makes it great, we had paddle board Pilates, aqua tai chi to name but a few. The is entertainment every night and is of a very good standard. One more thing at 4pm every day you get a free chilled glass of champagne brought to your sun lounger and my wife had her birthday whilst we were there, we never told anyone but on the day there was a knock at our door and champagne and nibbles were delivered, what a lovely touch. So in conclusion a lovely adults only hotel in prime position in the great resort of Cala’n Bosch

Everything about this hotel was top class service ,staff, pool, room , great value for money with top quality classy definitely recommend this hotel , we where getting picked up for transfer home and my husband got a call night before about a breakfast he went to reception to collect it and what was in the bag was amazing they went above and beyond
