Valentin Star Menorca - Adults Only

I checked in on 17th October 2024,was greeted by a nice friendly receptionist,very welcoming,with a nice cold bottle of water and a cold wet refreshing flannel as did all guests due to heat,went up to my room absolute stunning,celing fan and also aircon, safe in room,lovely bathroom,power shower,music through the speakers in bathroom,which U can turn up or down or off with a flick of a switch,nice soundproof room,and balcony over looking the harbour so nice to wake up to,room is cleaned every day to,the restaurant wow so nice with large choice at breakfast 8am to 11am and dinner 6.30pm to 9pm,lovely food beautiful hot and cold selection and a chef at hotplate,the waiting staff outstanding,so nice welcoming,the service outstanding. There is a massive swimming pool to warm and just bliss plus massive whirlpool a nice relaxing time,lots of seating round pool area,and waiting staff taking orders for drinks or food.There is evening entertainment to in hotel such fantastic time,overall I will give a 100% happy time I had so would love to come back again top hotel in Menorca,with harbour and bars restaurants and supermarkets and more.I would so recommend this hotel and its an adults only hotel as well,happy times and memories

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and have never been disappointed. It is adults only and provides a high end feel throughout. Our room furniture was slightly dated but completely adequate for our needs. Every area of the hotel was incredibly clean and the food varied daily and was good quality. The pool was cool but gave relief from scorching weather. Plenty of poolside space from loungers to day beds. No lounger hogging here. Waiter service poolside for snacks and drinks. We had a balcony looking over the harbour which was lovely. Entertainment put on each evening was good, particularly the Brothers of Soul. Lydia the fitness instructor was great at teaching aquarobics and other activities daily. Great holiday, and food provided to take away as our early flight meant we would miss breakfast. Would definitely recommend and I'm sure we will be back.

Just finishing an 8 night stay at this fabulous hotel. Located in a perfect spot by the marina. The staff are brilliant always helpful & friendly. Rooms are very spacious and kept spotlessly clean by the tireless staff. We stayed on a BB basis as we like to explore on the night. Breakfast here is superb every taste is catered for. The pool area is lovely and the hot tub a wonderful spot to relax. The canapes & cava that come round during the day is a nice touch. Evening entertainment shows are very good, the start from 9pm so plenty of time to enjoy a meal and get back. The cocktail bar at the front of the hotel by the marina is a lovely spot to chill late at night. We will definitely be coming back.

Lovely adult only hotel. (Most seemed to be 55 - 70) Staff are brilliant, from the smiles and politeness, to their professionalism. Pool and grounds are beautifully kept. Pool side entertainment, aqua fit, water volleyball and out of pool games, were fun. Stayed half board. Food was varied and tasty. Most evenings had a musician playing gently. Evening singer entertainment between 9 - 11. Very relaxed, comfortable, clean hotel. The marina area on your doorstep, great to stroll around I would return

2024 was our 5th stay at this hotel. Without exception all staff were very helpful as always. On returning home we rebooked for September 2025. During the booking process we were asked if everything was had been to our satisfaction at the hotel. The one thing that really stood out that we felt the need to point out was that the Valentin Star were charging 5 euros to sit outside for the evening meal, despite the fact there is no charge to sit outside at the same table with exactly the same waiter service for breakfast. Guests are not told of this hidden charge on arrival nor are there any signs anywhere in the hotel nor on their web-site informing them of this. The only time that guests will know of this charge is when they receive their drinks bill which for some would be at the end of their holiday. When the travel company contacted the Valentin Star for clarification the manager Juan Dols decided he was justified in cancelling our reservation for 2025. This hotel clearly does not like constructive criticism in order to enhance customer experience. We have noticed on many other reviews mentioning the same issue the management team never respond or deal with this unfair charge!

We have just returned from an 11 night stay at Valentin Star. And I must say this is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We had a 1st floor room overlooking the road however, we spent little time in the room due to the excellent facilities available. Hotel is situated on the very pretty harbour with lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is a nearby beach which is lovely but gets very busy. There is also a lovely beach within approx 20 minute walk but edge is quite rocky so not easy to get into sea if you fancy a dip. Food at the hotel is fabulous. There is a huge range for breakfast including caviar, smoked salmon, fresh honey on a honeycomb, bacon cooked in different levels right up to well done and very crispy and pretty much everything else you can think of. Evening buffet is excellent, there is a huge range of food, lots cooked in front of you and so much choice. There is something for everyone. Outside pool area is immaculately maintained with lots of sun beds and lovely pool and hydro jacuzzi type pool. There are daily activities including water aerobics, pool volleyball and yoga on body boards. You can order food and drinks to your sunbed by pressing a buzzer. Waiters also bring round complimentary canapés during the day and also complementary Prosecco around 4pm each day. Entertainment in the evening is very high standard with very comfortable seating area. Also lovely bar overlooking the harbour. We have already booked our return trip! looking over the harbour ser
