Amazing hotel! Excellent staff. But the best thing about the hotel is the amazing animation team they were the best I’ve ever seen especially Paige & Nacho. 😀

Currently on our last day at this stay and what a place it is. The entertainment staff were way beyond expectations, Diego, paige, Lorenna, Jordan Nacho and the rest of the team were upbeat, lively, fun and fully engaged all the children. The rooms were spotless, the view was STUNNING. My daughter wanted to attend every event possible that was scheduled just to be in their presence. The food was 9/10 brilliant, large variety, freshly cooked and the staff in the resturant were exceptional, very attentive and I've never had my plates cleared so fast with perfect manners. The location is also perfect, although it's more of a lively town than I depicted from the Internet, the beach is literally a 4 minute walk from the resturant and access to the town, 10 minute walk, access to the ting ting, also about the same. The drinks are VERY GENEROUS, so be warned, it's not like 2 drinks back in the UK. The general vibe of the place was friendly, welcoming and inclusive. I can not rate this place highly enough and we are already planning our return. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome and for the many giggles and memories you have given us x

1st impressions were good, nice reception area and helpful staff. We were quickly checked in and directed to our room. Room was a good size for a family of 4. Bedroom with 2 single beds pushed together and a double sofa bed in the lounge. Room was cleaned every 2 days which didn’t cause too much of a problem. It was a pleasant surprise that we had a small kitchen in the room and dining table/stools. Balcony was a good size with 4 chairs and a table. Only down side I would comment on in the room was the amount of ants… they were everywhere! You couldn’t leave a drink on the side because it would be infested within minutes. They were up the walls, on the worktops/table and on the floor. I informed reception who sent the maid in to sweep them up. In the end, we learnt to live with them. Luckily they are only quite small, just lots of them. We were in block L which seems to be the far side of the resort. Fairly good location as we were far enough away from the evening entertainment so we couldn’t hear it if the kids fancied an early night and we had easy access to the splash pool by walking on the outside of the resort. We were right outside the house keeping meet up point though, so every morning we’d have to try and push our way past 15+ housekeepers all with their own trollies to get in and out of our room. The huge bins for the resort were right next to our room too so we had to walk past those constantly. There are 3 pools in the resort. A smaller/quieter pool in the middle. The main pool and the splash park pool. The splash park pool doesn’t open until 10am and people start queuing at the gate from around 9.40am (a nice orderly queue I must add), no pushing in or running involved. Everyone in the queue managed to get beds and even those who turned up just after 10am managed to find something. There are 9 slides at the splash pool. 3 big, 6 smaller ones. All great and the kids loved them. The snack bar is also located at this pool where you can help yourself to soft drinks and food. Food includes (but not limited to) pizza, nuggets, burgers, fruit, ice creams etc. The nuggets taste like McDonald’s!! Beer and slushes are also available but the staff will serve you those. No other alcohol available at this pool. The ice creams are free at this hotel and you can help yourself. Best variety of ice creams we’ve seen in a hotel. Own brand cornettos, ice cream sandwiches, magnums, ice lollies, plus others. The main pool is on the small side in my opinion, and is a fairly simple pool. There is no time set at this pool for being able to reserve beds, and most are gone before 8am. There certainly isn’t enough beds and no where near enough umbrella’s for the demand. They have back ground music at this pool which was a nice change from the silence at the splash pool. Bar at this pool isn’t self service, but there’s a large selection of drinks and again ice creams to choose from. (No food at this pool). The smaller pool of the 3 is

The hotel offered everything we were looking for, multiple pools, kids club, all inclusive and close to the beach. The accommodation worked out well for us as we got two rooms next to each other for a family of 5 with 2 teenage boys. We really enjoyed the food in the restaurant and every member of staff was really nice and helpful. Also hats off to the entertainment staff who were really talented and hard working.

Couldnt fault our 7 days in this hotel, great service, facilities, food and drinks to a high standard, kids (2 & 3 years old) had a ball, day and night entertainment to a really high standard, great location, great views. 10 out of 10. Just a few observations for any readers - Most apartments are accessed via stairs and not lifts. Buggies can be stored behind reception but for us it was fine + our room had a great view so worth it. The hotel is split by two roads but they are v quiet and not really an issue and not a safety issue. There does seem to be an issue with ants as mentioned by other reviews but nothing major. Walking distance to pubs, shops etc 5 mins to beach but a lot of steps so a bit trickier with buggies As this is an all inclusive, the food is never going to be michelin standard so any foodies may be dissapointed but there is good options and in the most v nice. Drinks options are v good. entertainment team are brilliant.

2nd stay in cala dor, 1st at marsenses. Brilliant stay with our 2 year old Mason. He loved the splash pool and by the end of the holiday was confident enough to jump into the big pool all by himself! The animation team were brilliant and made an effort with him even tho he was a bit young but still manged to join in a few of the activities and loved his first ever mini disco and his first pool party which was brilliant! Food was excellent, different theme every night although not much on offer for kids but we still made do! Special shout to the chef who makes the cakes! Wow! Had to que from 9.45 to get a bed at the splash pool. If you're 5 minutes late you wont get a bed. The main pool beds were all taken when we went for breakfast at 8am. Rooms were great but me and my wife found the beds really uncomfortable, towls could be changed more often. Brilliant hotel, really nice atmosphere around pools in restaurant and of an evening. Do not hesitate to book this hotel! We will be back for sure! Thank you!
