Adamo the Bellus Calangute

First impressions are always important and this place failed spectacularly! Tired from our journey we were greeted by a receptionist who indifferently told us that the breakfast bar was closed, even though it still had ten minutes to run and we had arrived hungry. She then told us the 'rules of the hotel': that we were forbidden to eat or drink externally-procured items. We were then showed to our room which was dirty (see photos). (We later re-located to a better hotel). The pool area is also dirty (see photo of scum). Not a totally awful place to go but definitely not the best by a long shot. Management failure: they have good people working there but are totally lacking in the capabilities of those who are in charge.

It was a wonderful experience. Very nice ambience. Rooms are well maintained and spacious. Very good food was served. Restaurant staff were very Cooperative. Front office staff also were very nice. Altogether it was a memorable holidays. Thanks to Adamo Management and Staff. All the Best.

Stayed at the property for two nights around four days bac ,and still indulging in memories. Had a warm welcome by front office staff as we entered realise the beautiful lay out of the property. Rooms are specious, comfortable and super clean . Restaurant Bar : Menu consist of good variety with authentic goan food to choice of western food delicacies . Open house bar next to pool is with vibrant ambience. Staff at restaurant is very courteous and with tasty food such pleasent service is cherry on cake. Location of property is good to find transport just hundred meters away from calangute beach. I highly recommend this property to stay with friends , families and couples.

First time in India but definitely not my last. Hotel is absolutely perfect with beautiful grounds and really comfortable rooms. The real joy of this hotel however is the staff, each and every one of them is a credit to the hotel. Such friendly people who always have a smile and a pleasant word. Cannot speak highly enough of these wonderful people, special mention to Shanti and Martha but that’s not to take anything away from all of the other staff, unfortunately I did not get all of the staffs name's but each and every one of them were wonderful, from the cleaners, gardeners, maintenance staff to the bar staff and waiters/waitresses, all of whom take great pride in their roles and take joy from the guests comfort and happiness . Every morning was a joy to see the smiling welcomes and all day long the staff could not do enough for us. Food at the hotel is fantastic and so reasonably priced. I’m a bit of a fussy eater myself but can honestly say that I did not have a single meal that was not perfect, so credit to the chef’s. A big thank you to all of the staff for a perfect holiday, in beautiful, clean surroundings. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend this hotel. Thanks again.

Fantastic stay in Goa! The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms, and incredibly friendly staff. Enjoyed the excellent amenities and delicious local cuisine. Perfectly located for both relaxation and exploration. Highly recommend for an unforgettable vacation.

Wonderful hotel highly recommendable From the moment we walked in we had warm reception which lasted throughout our entire stay of 4 weeks with the entire staff in all their departments. The hotel is conveniently located 10mins walk  to the beach, 200 Rupees by tuk tuk to Baga & 400 to Candolim, however the main ***** is only 2 minutes walk which has an array of eateries, shops etc etc. so no need to go there really unless you like to explore. What amazes me it is still in a really secluded location with a large  well maintained swimming pool, large  gardens which is looked after meticulously, great for relaxing & taking photos! The bar & restaurant really makes it a peach of a hotel. The setting is absolutely fabulous, well laid out  with lovely scenery. The drinks & food are reasonably priced only slightly higher than the local bars & restaurant which is expected but considering the ambience its well worth it. The food is is excellent which offers Indian & English cuisine. We dined here  at least 3 a week, & nearly every night came back for a couple of drinks nightcap which speaks volumes for relaxing atmosphere of this hotel. Breakfast was delious which had live  egg & dosa stations with plenty of other varieties which was changed daily. The swimming pool is well cleaned & maintained by Suresh & Chanan  daily meaning I had to have a swim everyday! Towels are also provided. Our room overlooked the swimming pool & parts of the garden which was a luxury in  itself when sitting on the balcony. The room is very spacious as too the bathroom. The cleaners esp Charan always had a smile for us & always did an amazing  job. Overall highly recommend this place & we certainly look forward to a return.
